How to Play the Harmonica:
- Play breathing through the harmonica, not thinking about blowing or sucking
- Practice breathing with your diaphragm, not your lungs
- Breathe from as deep as you can get - roughly speaking, lungs equals chest, diaphragm equals stomach
- Do breathing exercises like meditation or aerobics. Pay attention to where you are breathing from
- Inhale and exhale slowly. Breath control is as important for harmonica playing as it is for singing
- Practice playing a note on the harmonica and holding it as long as possible, being careful not to get dizzy
- Practice breathing in and out as fast as you can. Think of a panting dog
- Start on a diatonic harmonica with a simple tune like "Oh, Susannah," which is usually played by ear
- Play this and other simple tunes in first position ("straight harp"), where the key of the song is the same as the key of the harmonica
- Play these songs in the middle range (middle octave) of the harmonica, which gives you the full diatonic scale without requiring any bends

03-18-2013- Pros: The Harmonica is what I expected and as advertised. Another Swan quality product. Plays great. The price was a little cheaper than other online stores, the promise of fast delivery was something I was looking forward to.
- Cons: I was really disappointed in the time it took for the product to arrive. I knew about having to wait for the Chinese New Year to pass, but DinoDirect ran out of stock, but was still advertising the product. The item finally arrived, but other harmonicas I order from China 1 week after this one arrived 3 days before the DinoDirect order. DinoDirect should not have items for sale which have run out of stock, or at least mark the item as out of stock so customers are aware of it.
- Other Thoughts: The product itself is good,no damage, nice and factory new. however, the red inner moulding of the box that the harmonica sits in is cracked in one corner, could be a result of a heavy drop during shipping. The moulding could be made of a heavier type of material or foam to preventthis happening.

04-26-2012- Other Thoughts: It's inexpensive goods comparing to other brand goods but I had to maintain some lead. As I chose regular mail so it's 3 weeks delivery time.Anyway I liked it and I would like to introduce it my friends.
