    How to Protect Keyboard Covers

    Keyboard covers are protective sheets that fit over a keyboard to prevent water, dust and dirt from entering into the system. A beverage spill on an unprotected keyboard will likely result in a short and require the keyboard or an entire laptop computer to be replaced. You need to take care of the keyboard cover if you want to make it last longer and protecting it from damage requires regular maintenance.

    Wipe down the keyboard protector regularly with a cotton ball and either water or a small amount of rubbing alcohol to help disinfect it from germs and eliminate dirt.

    Remove the keyboard protector weekly to more thoroughly clean it. Most varieties can simply be pulled off.

    Wash the keyboard protector under warm water with mild soap to eliminate dirt and debris that formulates under the protector while on the keyboard. Dry the protector completely before placing it back on the keyboard.

    Avoid bending the protector when it is not on the keyboard. While it has a certain amount of flexibility, bending it completely will cause a crease to form that makes it harder to fit back on a keyboard comfortably. Rolling the protector can potentially warp it as well and should be avoidable.

    Keep beverages and food away from the keyboard as much as possible. While the keyboard protector is designed to protect the keyboard from spillage, the protector itself will last longer the less it comes into contact with food and drinks.

Just got this Bluetooth Keyboard Cover and for the price I think it's great. I have a protective skin on my ipad and it fits in the case nicely. I purchased the case for added protection while using my ipad. VERY pleased with this product and would strongly encourage others to get this one. Plus, I love it.

The cutouts for the speaker, volume, orientation lock, sleep/wake button, headphones, mic, and charger are all set in a way that it covers it but still lets you get to them. The stylish design on the back only adds to the already sophisticated look of the iPad. This case is as close to a perfect, seemingly non-existent case you can find.

The clear material (which doesn't feel cheap at all, but of really good quality) makes it seem like the case isn't even there, although when you feel it, you know your iPad is secure. Counter this with a sleeve to carry it around in and you're good to go. I'm very pleased. We'll have to see how it does against the test of time now.
