Mobile Power Bank Function:

W12 has one ultra-high capacity li-ion battery, could charge iPhone, iPad, tablet pc etc.

How to use: connect mobile phone to the W12's USB port, switch the power button to 'C', then W12 could charge it

Attention:

1, when you use W12 to charge devices, turn the power switch to 'C', when fully charged, turn the switch to 'OFF' to save battery

2, Do not recommend to charge mobile phone when W12 is power on(On Mode), it will affect battery life although it could charge devices

3, W12's output is : 5V, 1A-2A, so it only could charge eligible devices

Connect Internet function:

Start WIFI Power Bank

Turn the power switch to 'ON', WIFI power bank will be started, after it,  WIFI led & Sys led shine

Connect with WIFI Power Bank

WIFI power bank supports cable & wireless connection, recommend wireless connection.

Steps under Windows XP

Click the "Start/Control Panel", double-click "Network Connections", in the "Wireless Network Connection" right click and select "View Available Wireless Networks", double-click the SSID of "FORGOOD W12" wireless network, on the right shows "connected" that indicates successfully connected to the 3G router

Under Windows 7

When wireless adapter installed, the lower right corner of the computer there is a  icon, click the icon, and will see a pop-up network list, select " FORGOOD W12" the wireless network, and then double-click it to connect, when the screen appears "connected", as shown below:
 

After connected successfully, open IE Browser, enter the default IP address: 192.168.100.1. then press 'enter'

Enter username: admin, password: admin (No bold word) in the pop up window then click ok

If you want to set fixed IP & DNS address, please follow below steps:

it is recommended to automatically obtain. Take XP System for example, click on "Start/Control Panel", double-click the network connection in the "Wireless Network Connection" right click select properties, select "Internet Society (TCP / IP)", click on Properties to bring up TCP / IP Settings page, Select "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" setting is completed, the computer can automatically obtain the IP address of the router.

Notes: after testing, UC, QQ browser are not compatible with wifi power bank.

1, 3G Dial up

If you have 3g modem, insert it into WIFI power bank's usb port, wifi power bank will start 3g dialing, iPad, smartphone, laptop etc could connect with internet when it connects WIFI POWER BANK via wifi, most of 3g modems could be PnP.

Click WIFI Power Bank's homepage, check if 3g dial up succeed or not at running status

•l  If 3g dial up shows 'connected' means successful

•l  If 3g dial up shows 'disconnect', means no 3g connection, could connect manually

•l  If 3g dial up shows 'connecting, please wait', means wifi power bank is dialing, please wait, Do not click connect button too often, coz usually it will take some time(about 20 seconds) to dial up. if it shows' connecting, please wait' for long time after refreshing, you should remove 3g modem, and plug it again or restart the wifi power bank

2, Dynamic IP(DHCP)

usually LAN of Restaurant, hotel, government's access type belongs to DHCP, WIFI power bank could link to public internet by connecting the Hotel etc via DHCP, open wifi power bank's interface, click'basic setting>WAN setting', choose dynamic IP, then save

Back to homepage, if network connects normally, DHCP shows connected successfully, or click 'refresh' to obtain IP address

3, PPPoE

If you have applied ADSL to realize Dial-up service, you should choose this type. Under this condition, you should fill in both the User Name and Password that the ISP supplied. Please note that there fields are case-sensitive.

Open the router WEB interface, click on the "Basic Settings> Internet access mode", select PPPoE, enter the broadband Internet account and password, click "OK" to save the settings, Return to the "System Status> running", if PPPoE dial-up display "Connected", said that it has successfully connected to the broadband network.

4, Statics IP

Network operators provide you with an Internet IP address, select Static IP, static IP mode, the router's WAN/LAN port to use as WAN port.

In the "Basic Settings> Internet access mode" select the Static IP mode, then enter your ISP's IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, DNS and other related parameters

WIFI repeater function

WIFI repeater could expand wireless transmission room effectively, when wifi signal is not good, wifi power bank could be used as wifi repeater, easy setting, stable connection.

•For example: the relay-operated router's SSID is FORGOODW12, type: WPA-PSK, encryption algorithm: AES, password:29744997

Open wifi power bank's menu, click' basic setting>WAN setting',choose 'wifi repeater', save, then return. Click' scan wifi hotspot',

the router with SSID' FORGOODW12' is found, click confirm. Information of the router will be popped-up, including SSID, frequency, type, encryption algorithm etc, you just need to enter the password:29744997, then save

Then back to the homepage , click 'refresh',  wifi repeater shows'connected', laptops, smartphones etc could get online as long as it connected with FORGOODW12

Notes:

1,when set WIFI repeater, the wifi power bank's encryption type, encryption algorithm, channel, password etc should be the same with the router's.

2, if the relay-operated router is too far, WIFI signal is too weak, wifi repeater may break 

Wireless Encryption

Selecting "Wireless Settings>Wireless Encription", will enable you to configure wireless security for your wireless network to protect your data from intruders. The Router prodivers three types: WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK. The security options are different operation mode, it is recommended to use WPA-PSK security mode.

Mobile hard disk(Flash drive) wireless sharing

Step1, connect hard disk to the wifi power bank's usb port(see above picture), turn the power switch to 'on'

Step2, connect your device to wifi power bank by wifi, then open Browser, enter: http://192.168.100.1:6060, then connected with hard disk

FORGOOD W12 support hard disk & flash drive connection, if it's Flash drive, it shows 'sda1' while connecting coz flash drive only has one partition,

If it's hard disk, 4 partitions, it shows sda1, sda2, sda3, sda4.

Step3, click the file in the catalog, then could play music, videos, pictures etc.

The ways to charge the wifi power bank

We could charge the wifi power bank by below 2 ways when the low battery:

1, power adapter(recommended): connect usb cable with the power adapter (with usb port), then plug in the socket.

2, USB cable: connect usb cable with the laptop, thus wifi power bank is charging via usb cable, coz the output current is low, charging time will be longer.
