How to Sew a Phone Case:
Many people like to have their cell phone on them at all times. However, this can be difficult if there are no pockets in which to keep the phone. In addition to this, it can be hard to find a phone in the clutter of a big purse. The perfect solution to these problems is a cell phone case. These cases can be found in stores, but they are often expensive, and it can be hard to find the right size for a specific phone. One way around this is to make an inexpensive, homemade cell phone carrying case. With basic sewing skills, anybody can make a phone case
- Cut a piece of felt that is 2 inches wider and twice as long as the cell phone, plus 2 inches.
- Fold the felt piece in half, bringing the shorter edges together. Sew up both longer edges, leaving the top edges open
- Cut a small hole in the middle of the folded edge of the fabric. This hole will allow for the charger to connect to the phone while it is still in the case
- Cut two pieces of felt that are each 3 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Sew each felt piece in a loop onto the back of the phone case
- Sew one metal clasp in the middle of each side of the open end of the fabric. Turn the carrying case right side out

- Add bling to your cell phone case by outlining the image using small, flat jewels. Create the outline of the image, or, if you prefer more glitz, cover the remaining back and side of the phone with your desired jewels. Use a clear craft glue intended for plastic surfaces and small tweezers to adhere the jewels to the case
