Cell Phone FM Transmitter Instructions:
- Plug the FM transmitter into the car stereo's "AUX/cigarette adapter" connection
- Press one "Channel/CH" button on the car stereo repeatedly until you come to a non-broadcasting frequency. Many FM transmitter user manuals recommend using a station between 87.1 and 88.9 FM
- Press one "Channel/CH" button on the transmitter repeatedly until the transmitter's frequency setting matches the car stereo's frequency setting
- Connect the phone's headphones port to the FM transmitter. Start playing music on the phone if audio files are on the phone. The audio will play through the vehicle's speakers
- Press "Send" or "Call" on the phone if the phone receives a call. Then, press the "Speaker" key on the phone to take the call. Press "Stop/End" on the phone to disconnect the call. You can then continue to play music

03-15-2011- Other Thoughts: The FM transmitter was extremely easy to use. I am in no way a tech savvy person and it took me about a minute to get it working. I have a 3rd generation nano and it fit into the dock perfectly, even with the casing on. You literally plug it into your lighter and find a station and you're done. If you're worried about it not fitting into your lighter, I have a pretty old and crappy car and it fit into mine just fine. I would say that if you are looking for a transmitter for your ipod this is the one to buy.

03-07-2011- Other Thoughts: You MUST find the right frequency. Do not try to just guess, you will get poor results. Go to "radio-locator.com" to find the lowest-used frequency in your area. Once I did this the sound quality was great.
