Tips on Using FM Transmitters with Your MP3 Player:

    • Combine charger and transmitters. Some FM transmitters will replace a car charger for your MP3 player. Using one of these combination transmitters help reduce the number of MP3 accessories floating around in your glove box
    • Multiple bands increase your options. Wireless FM transmitters will sometimes transmit on only one FM frequency band. An all-channel FM transmitter will let you easily find an unused frequency, so you're not stuck with just one channel
    • Set a moderate volume. It's usually easier to change your car's volume controls than the MP3's. So, before you use the FM transmitter, set a moderate volume on the MP3 player. This will provide good volume control
    • Minimize transmitter distance. FM transmitters have a limited range. You may want the transmitter to be within 10 feet of the radio you'll be using
    • Check player compatibility. Most radios can receive FM signals, but not all FM transmitters are compatible with any MP3 player. Usually, you can find compatible model numbers in the transmitter description. All portable MP3 players use 3.5 mm audio jacks for headphones. So, a transmitter that connects through the audio jack will work with most players

Ok for the price

I have used this product for one week now. What I liked most about this product is the wireless features and its capability to charge. The fm reciever is some what good but not perfect. Compared to the griffin product that i bought years ago, i would gladly say that this product is much more better in reception as long as you find an appropriate fm station.

Awesome

For as little as it costs, this product performs very well in my opinion. Its charging my ipod nano. I earlier had Belkin fm transmitter, which does not charge my ipod nano and the sound quality is great when it comapred with Belkin which I had. I used it throughout my trip to washington dc, I had to change the channel only one time. The remote is also working fine. It is very user friendly. I would recommend it for friends.

The best iPod Transmitter
00:00:00 01-20-2011
I have this one since Jan 2010. IT IS THE BEST fm transmitter available. I tried more than 10 different devices, I even had a 90$ one (from costco), but I returned all of them. This is really good. (for a better transmition, connect the charge cable, it works as an antenna)

Awesome iPod Transmitter
00:00:00 12-16-2010
I bought this really not expecting much. It's dirt cheap, and goods this cheap tend to not be a quality product. What a surprise to see that this thing works better than my friends Belkin car adapter/mount for the iphone. Sound quality is just as good as i've heard on any other FM transmitter- not great, but if you care that much about sound quality, you'll need an audio input on your head unit. No FM modulator is gonna put out stellar sound, regardless of the price or quality of the product.

FM Transmitter
00:00:00 11-09-2010
I give this a three mostly for the price the sound isnt great but decent for what you pay. I do like the fact that it is wireless so unless you are charging your ipod you dont need it pluged in. What I dont like about it is there are no buttons to pre-set so if you get static you have to fumble around til you find a clear station. If all you wanna do is listin to your ipod to and from work go ahead and get this but if you travel alot Id go with something else
