10-07-2010- Other Thoughts: I bought this puzzle and several other 'crystal' puzzles for my niece, age 9, and myself. My niece loves them as much as I do. So far, my niece has put together the yellow pyramid, blue diamond, green apple, and red heart. The 3D puzzles are different from 'flat' puzzles, but rely on the same thinking process of Shape Recognition. 3D puzzles require some amount of symmetry in the puzzle pieces to make the 3D shapes. Once you get the pieces on one side, you can easily figure out the other side. My lower rating on durability is due to the difficulty in taking the puzzles apart once they've been put together. Once they're together though, the puzzles are very pretty and you might not want to take them apart!

08-05-2010- Other Thoughts: My daughter bought one of these at a brick and mortar store - she had a hard time starting it, but then we were able to find "edges" that helped us figure out which pieces might be next. The finished puzzle has a contoured, hollow inside. You can use that contour, along with the indentation around the stem and the smaller indentation in the base to group pieces into likely "neighbors." <br/> <br/>It's a fun puzzle to put together. When complete, it looks like a piece of art glass. Wonderful 'toy.'

08-12-2011- Pros: I bought this puzzle to give it as a birthday gift to my friend who loves solving puzzle. I'm quite sure he will enjoy playing with this
- Cons: The size of the puzzle appeared to be smaller than I expected. But it is not a major issue. It will still be an elegant ornament for display.
- Other Thoughts: This item arrived in good packaging. However, there is minor damage to the box of the puzzle itself. The puzzle pieces are in good condition though.

09-09-2010- Other Thoughts: This was very different from the puzzles I usually work. I tried it for 30 minutes and got nowhere but frustrated. Then my daughter-in-law sat down with it and she worked it in one sitting. Took her awhile, but she was persistent. Just shows that we all think differently.

12-14-2010- Other Thoughts: As time consuming and sometimes frustrating as this 3d puzzle may be to complete, once done it is a source of pride. Great value and most definitely well worth it, if this type of puzzle is either something you like or expect you will like.
