03-02-2011- Other Thoughts: I've had one of these for forever, but it disappeared in my recent move. I purchased a new one and expect it to last just as long. So far it's been as reliable and accurate as my old one. It's great for cooking, timing my parking meter and testing my kids for their SAT's. It's reassuring to think that classic items are still made well!

02-27-2011- Other Thoughts: After reading the low rated reviews I was skeptical about buying a replacement timer. I also had one years ago that was made in America and have had quality problems with other items made in China. This is my favorite type of timer for several uses, so I decided to take the risk and order more than one through Ace Hardware on Amazon.com. So glad I did because they're working great for me!!

03-13-2011- Other Thoughts: This timer has the best combination of classic and digital features. It has a classic look and feel so that it is easy to see the numbers and easy to set the time. But, it runs on a battery like a digital timer which means silent operation (no ticking!) and a great escalating ring. The only wish I have is that it was made in more colors.
