04-07-2011- Other Thoughts: This timer is perfect for classrooms. It is easy to set. Because it changes colors students can see when time is nearly up for an activity even if they cannot read the numbers from the back of the room.

04-29-2011- Other Thoughts: This is an inexpensive and stylish mechanical, analog timer. It looks pretty sturdy, but I'm not going to drop-test it as the knob is plastic even if the case isn't. It's very easy to set, fairly easy to read from 10-25 feet away if you want to keep an eye on the time left while watching TV and waiting for dinner to cook.

05-18-2011- Other Thoughts: I guess my expectations aren't as high as others who rated this item. It is simple, attractive, and does exactly what I purchased it to do - count off the minutes and ding when the time is up. The brushed stainless goes with my appliances as well. I don't want to have to take 10 minutes to program a digital timer just to set it each time - this one is good enough for me.
