Colour Temperature:- The photos below were taken in a dark room, without pre-setting the camera or editing the photos afterwards
- Different colour temperatures of the LED bulbs can be seen on the trim of the terracotta pot and on the cactus
- The first photo the object was illuminated with cool light. The cool light is the brightest
- The second photo natural white was used, it is similar to sunlight
- The third photo the warm white can be seen, which is similar to the color of tungsten lighting and halogen lights

12-10-2010- Other Thoughts: The first thing that got my attention was the build quality. I expected the bulb to be of cheap, fragile plastic construction, but it's actually very solid and of good weight. The size is about as long as a PAR20 bulb and almost exactly as wide as an MR16. <br/> <br/>The color it produces is extremely vibrant, very saturated. The transitions are clean and look professional. As one reviewer mentioned earlier, things are a little more on the dim side. The brightest colors (blue and white) are equivalent to a 20 watt bulb and the dimmest color (red) is about an 8 watt bulb. While this perfect for mood lighting, as a party-lighting solution, you will require many bulbs. I recommend searching out and buying the bulb by the same seller without the remote when getting multiples. It saves a few bucks and you can use the same remote for all the bulbs. <br/> <br/>The remote has a range of about six feet and about a 60 degree spread. It's signal easily goes through recessed cans (as long as you point it at the bulb). <br/> <br/>The bulbs do have a memory of the last setting they were on when turning them on, either through the remote or power switch, as long as they are "trained" with the setting by leaving it on for at least a few minutes. I do notice that, when on solid colors at max brightness, the bulb controller flickers every once in a while. It's not enough do bother me, but I do notice it from time to time. <br/> <br/>I will definetely be incorporating these bulbs in future lighting ideas.

11-16-2010- Other Thoughts: I'm about to order my fourth. These things are just amazing. As the other reviewers note, do not expect these to light up your room, they're for accenting. I use two behind my HDTV on slow transition and another in the bedroom. The bedroom one is great, I use the remote from the bed and when it is on low-blue I can find my way around the room without waking up my wife. <br/>If they had a deal on these by the dozen, I'd order 12 for sure. As someone who order from Dinodirect weekly, at least, I'd say this is one of the coolest items I've ever bought here.

07-06-2010- Other Thoughts: I have a niche with a little can light in it and the spot light gets so hot the can has a circuit in it to prevent overheating that trips and it turns off. I was concerned about fire but also concerned about the environment. see... I am a tree hugger. I can burn this light and it is comparable and walk up and put my finger on the face of the bulb and it is cool. Not cheap but it pays it self back over many years and cuts down your energy expenditures. Each one of these is a bullet against Al Quaida... we buy this kind of lighting we use less fossil fuels and pay the extremist less money they use for hurting U.S. See?

06-16-2010- Other Thoughts: This product did exactly as stated and was more than bright enough to illuminate the driveway from above the garage door. The power consumption was low and the color excellent. I have decided to use a few more of these for interior lighting in a three socket fixture (as the light does not spread much - but the three-way seems to make up for this well enough)

05-25-2010- Other Thoughts: These bulbs work well in a kitchen range hood. The previous lights put out a lot of heat, adding to the hot kitchen. These are cool even after hours of use. The only negatives are that they are not as bright as I would like, and the cost is high. I think the cost will come down over time, as they are very energy efficient.

05-03-2010- Other Thoughts: I bought 4 in case they weren't bright enough...2 did the job over the front entrance with awesome brightness and patterns. My kids were so excited. Better than stringing lights outside, they illuminate great from inside the recessed cans. I am a very hard to please customer but I'm extremely satisfied with this product. I LOVE this product...priced right for its capabilities and construction.
