How to Get an Ink Stain Out of a Sweatshirt:
Ink is a common but dreaded stain to remove from clothing, whether it's an expensive dress or a favorite sweatshirt. Once ink dries on the fabric, it's an especially challenging stain to remove. With a little perseverance and a combination of the right products, your favorite sweatshirt can be ink-free and ready to wear before the big game starts
Instructions:- Lay white paper towels on the back side of the sweatshirt behind the ink stain. The ink will bleed through the fabric, so use a thick enough layer of towels to keep the ink from penetrating the opposite side of the shirt
- Moisten a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and blot the ink stain with the cotton ball. The ink will start to bleed onto the cotton ball and to the paper towel on the opposite side. Immediately change to a clean cotton ball with each blot to make certain you don't reapply the ink to the shirt. Be sure to add rubbing alcohol to each new cotton ball. Also blot the back of the sweatshirt with the paper towels and replace the towels as needed. Repeat as many times as necessary until the ink stain is no longer visible
- Apply an oxygenated laundry stain remover to both sides of the sweatshirt, rubbing the stain remover thoroughly into the fibers of the fabric. Launder the sweatshirt as usual according to the directions on the manufacturer's label
