How to Choose a Lunch Box:
Your choice of lunch box reflects your inner self. Are you strong and quirky like an old metal lunch box? Light and colorful like a plastic lunch box? Or soft and cozy like a lunch bag? Here are some things to consider when choosing your lunch box.
- Instructions
- Consider what you'll use the lunch box to carry. Use a tough metal or plastic lunch box to protect foods that can bruise, break or smush. If you plan to pack your foods in plastic containers, a soft lunch bag is fine.
- Choose a lunch box or lunch bag that is large enough to accommodate all your items without having them move around when jostled.
- Consider how you'll be handling your lunch box. If you'll have to fit it in your backpack or book bag, a hard exterior will keep your food from being squashed.
- Purchase a soft-bodied, insulated lunch bag if you'll be carrying items that need to be kept cool or hot. Few hard-shell lunch boxes offer insulation.
- Purchase an insulated beverage container (either with the lunch box or separately) just in case you decide to bring along a little soup, coffee or another beverage.
- Think about the image you'd like to project to your coworkers and companions, and choose your lunch box accordingly. Most plastic and metal lunch boxes will carry images of some sort, including superheroes, cartoon characters and even political figures.

01-04-2011- Other Thoughts: Just like any Practical Lunch Box they put out before school starts. I gave it to my son for Christmas and he couldn't wait to carry it when school started again. Good quality so far.

03-09-2011- Other Thoughts: This container is only good for dry foods. Anything like yogurt, gravy, etc., will leak into the other compartment. Not as handy as I had hoped.

12-22-2010- Other Thoughts: I was very tired of putting snacks in plastic sandwich bags and then throwing the bags away every day - not good for the environment. I tried plastic containers but sometimes my kids couldn't open them or close them all the way. The 3 Tier Lunch Box is a great solution! I can put their daily morning snack in the container - even two different things - and they have no trouble opening and closing them. The containers are easy to clean and are tough -- even falling on the floor a number of times has not been a problem. I would highly recommend lunchbots!

01-12-2011- Other Thoughts: Love my 3 Tier Lunch Box! I have many of their containers of varying sizes and LOVE them all! They hold quite a bit and even though the lids don't snap on, I haven't had any issues with the lids coming off in my lunchbag. They wash up very well and are dishwashwer safe. They also look as nice now as the day I got them even after daily trips through the dishwasher...no paint chiping, scratching, etc. Overall, very pleased and have been back to purchase several more.
