How to Use a Magnifying Glass:
- Experiment with several magnifying glasses to determine the strength that best suits your needs. Office supply stores are a good source for finding various types of glasses

05-16-2011- Other Thoughts: Product does what it's supposed to do. Focal lenght is a little close, about 9 inches. That info would have been helpful. I would have chosen a lesser power.

02-28-2011- Other Thoughts: Crystal clear, no wobbly wavy distortions as cheap Chinese imitations at harbor freight have. No eye strain. More convenient than holding a loupe. The older style that had elastic strap was lighter and better fit on head, more comfy. Grab them if you can find them used! Wear them and flip up to see without them without taking them off. Use to make jewelry, thread a needle, fine hobby or craft work, etc. Da-10 is the strongest.

02-23-2011- Other Thoughts: I've needed an item like this for the past year or so. I do component level, (chips, transistors, etc.), replacement and soldering on PCBs, when I'm out on service calls. The product itself is a well made, quality piece. Equally, the unit is comfortable to wear. I mainly bought it, due to its portability.

01-26-2011- Other Thoughts: It's very light. Mine weighs just under 5 oz. It's very comfortable to wear. It has a removable leatherette head band in the front with a felt liner. <br/>I don't wear mine where it will get dirty or sweaty, but it looks to be washable.

01-05-2011- Other Thoughts: I purchased this product to work with building my PC. Not knowing that '3 1/2X' this magnification would only occur at 4 inches from the object, it does not meet my need for image clarity. To help other customers with my same perception, the description for these product items should clearly state the focal distance which will take effect during use.
