How to Clean a Paintball Mask:
- With a soft cloth, wipe the paintball hit or splatter off as much as you can. Paint is oily, so you probably won't be able to get all of it off by just wiping. An old cotton t-shirt works good to clean a paintball mask with
- Spray water on all the spots where the paint was. If paint got in the nooks and crannies of your paintball mask, keep spraying water on the spots until it is flushed out. If you let it dry it makes cleaning the paint off harder, so get it off while the paint is still wet
- Take your soft cloth and wipe it off the water. Make sure you use a clean rag or at least a clean spot on your rag to wipe it up, otherwise you will smear the paint around again
- If you have time and want to really get your paintball mask clean, take off the visor (if your mask has one)and the lens. Every brand of mask has the lens remove differently, so follow the instructions that came with your mask
- With the lens and visor removed, spray the spots you missed on your paintball mask and then wipe it off with your cloth
How to Prevent Paintball Mask Fog:
- Of fog, and for those who seldom have a problem with fogging lenses, use anti-fog gel on your lens. I say gel because in my experience it has worked much better than anti-fog spray. Anti-fog gel has always lasted longer and worked better for me
- For even better fog prevention, install a thermal lens on your paintball mask. The difference between a thermal lens and a single pane lens is like comparing night and day. It isn't impossible to fog up a thermal lens, but it is very hard to do
- Install a fan in your mask. Some people make their own out of a pc fan, but for a few models of paintball masks you can buy a small fan that will help keep you cool while you are playing. As for noise, some say the sound of the fan bothers them while others say they don't even notice it

03-05-2011- Other Thoughts: The lens hasn't fogged up yet. The goggles are removable, although it's difficult. My only gripes are that, the same thing for the visor (once put on), and it's difficult to aim down my red dot sight while wearing (but this is probably true for all paintball masks). Other than that, it's comfortable, the plastic feels hard and strong, you can't go wrong.
