• Take the top part off of the cool mist humidifier and put aside, This is the part with the power cord. Empty basin of any remaining water and wash well in warm soapy water then rinse with plenty of clear water
• fill basin to 1/2 full with white vinegar, reattach top portion of the cool mist humidifier and plug in to activate. Note it will expel a mist of white vinegar! Allow to run for 1-2 minutes and turn off
