How to Wear a Men's Vest:
Wearing a vest is a trend for men that seems to be sticking. Black vests are a good bet if you want to add a little extra something to your wardrobe. Choosing a vest to wear can be challenging; the vest you wear depends on the look that you want to achieve and your body type. Just as with any fashion accessory, tailor a men's vest to show off what's good about you- Decide what sort of look you want to achieve: sporty, dressy or militaristic, among others. - Make sure your vest fits you well. A dressy vest should emphasize the shape of your torso without being constricting. Use the strap in the back of the vest to tighten it if needed. Regardless of your choice of suit vest, make sure you hold up your pants properly. Some formal vests are designed to be worn with suspenders, not a belt. - Accessory Vests: Some vests are designed purely for looks. These include lightweight denim vests, and the button-front skinny black cotton vests seen over T-shirts and with high-tops for a "nouveau punk" look. Pairing a black cotton vest with a pair of black pants is chic and slimming, and your girlfriend can borrow your skinny vest with impunity. As these vests go in and out of style, keep abreast of men's fashion sources to ensure you don't look too "last season"
- Vests for Bikers and Cowboys: If you're part of the biker or western-wear culture, you know about these vests and how and when to wear them. - Cons: I bought the gray one and it doesn't look exactly like the gray vest shown in photos on this page. However it does look exactly like the black vest shown on this page except that it's gray.
