10-27-2011- Other Thoughts: For the money - I would say that this 8X 20mm curved camping pocket zoom monocular telescope is very good.
My son loves it, my daughter loves it and even my husband can't believe it's that good for what we paid for it.
Views stars and planets well, and we can even see the moons of various planets.
This was a smart buy for my kids.

10-22-2011- Other Thoughts: I love the pocket zoom monocular telescope! I could see craters on the moon and it was so bright. I still have more experimenting to do though. The finder scope doesn't seem to be all that helpful so I aim the telescope by using the tip of it pointed to the sky. There is little assembly required and the instructions were very detailed with pictures, but if you're buying this for a child an adult should probably help.

10-30-2011- Other Thoughts: OK... A great monocular telescope and a good way to start your children off looking at the stars. It's put together very well and has good maginification, you just need to spot the stars with the naked eye first.

10-24-2011- Other Thoughts: So far so good. Being a beginner I don't have any comparisons, but this seems to be a high quality scope for the money. I wanted one that I could use both on land and sky and so far it's been great.
