How to Use an MP4 Digital Player:

- In order to upload files that can be used on an MP4 player, a person must first connect the MP4 player to a computer using a USB cord
- After the player is connected, it can take 10-15 seconds for the computer to recognize it. A new icon will appear on the desktop (on a Mac) or in the "My Computer" menu (on a PC) when the computer locates the new hardware
- Find the folder in your computer where your MP4 files are saved. You can find MP4 files at places like MP4Point.com. When you reach this folder, select "Ctrl+A" to select all or some of the files. Then select "Ctrl+C" on the keyboard to copy the files
- Find the icon that appeared in Step 2 and open it up by double clicking on it. When the window opens, press "Ctrl+V" on your keyboard. This will move the selected MP4 files onto your MP4 player
- Safely remove the player by right clicking on the MP4 player icon, and then clicking on "Remove Device" when the menu opens
- Check to see if the files have been downloaded to the player. If they have, select the one you want and press "Play."
How to Choose a MP4 Player:

- Consider the amount of storage available. At the lower end of the market a 512mb to 1Gb player will generally hold up to 200 songs
- Think about portability; if you have an active lifestyle then you will need a player that is small and compact. If you intend to use your player whilst jogging or whilst training in the Gym then a flash based system will be a better choice as they contain no moving parts and therefore won't skip
- Decide on the type of interface you want. Will the interface be easy to access and use on the move or will it require 100% of your attention to choose your songs? This is one area that is often overlooked and is one of the major areas of dissatisfaction among users
- Examine how the device is powered. Many MP4 players come with built in rechargeable batteries, whilst these are very convenient and can last for a long time, if you are not able to recharge them or don't have access to a computer with a USB port you then you will need to wait to charge the player up
- Consider any accessories you may want. Most MP4 players come with headphones but usually they are not very good quality. Investing in a new pair may improve sound quality
MP4 Players Maintenance:

- Avoid using mp4 player in high-intensity magnetic field, high field, high temperature and moist situation
- Do not wet the USB port, or it will be oxidized
- Avoid shock, over shock will destroy the interior disks
- Do not keep the batteries in the mp4 player for long time (if it is powered by outer power source); the weeping of batteries will damage the player
- To avoid the performance of Li-Po battery decreasing, please keep full charge if without using it over 30days
How to Troubleshoot an MP4 Digital Player:

- To load an MP4 file onto the player, you must have a way to connect the player either wirelessly or with a wire to the computer where the file resides. After the two are connected, right-click on the file and select "Copy." Then right-click on the folder for the MP4 player and select "Paste." You also may drag the files into the player icon. Use the "Sync" application in a program such as iTunes or Windows Media Player to move the file to the MP4 player
- If the audio or video quality is less than stellar, the problem might not be the player. Check the MP4 file by playing it on the computer. If the quality is still poor, the file may be corrupted or may have downloaded incorrectly. If you're using headphones, try listening without headphones to see if the audio improves, to see if the headphones are the problem
- If the computer does not recognize the MP4 player, check to see if there are any updates to the computer. If you are running Windows XP, check the Microsoft website to update to XP Service Pack
- If the battery is not lasting long enough, adjust the settings on the MP4 player to increase battery life. Set the screen to turn off when not in use, try to fast forward and reverse less frequently, and use lower-powered headphones
- If there are problems downloading files, make sure the computer and player are connected properly on both ends. Also, check the memory on the player to make sure it isn't full
Instruction of Converting MP4 to MP3 in Windows Media Player:
- Download Windows Media Player to your system if you don't already have it installed. Windows Media Player can be downloaded for free at the Microsoft website (see Resources). Microsoft offers versions of Media Player in more than two dozen languages
- Launch Windows Media Player on your computer. Go to "Start>All Programs" and click on "Windows Media Player" in the list
- Open the MP4 file you want to convert in Windows Media Player. Go to the "File" menu, click "Open" and browse for the MP4 in the "Open" window that comes up. Double-click the MP4 file and it automatically begins playing in Media Player
- Return to the "File" menu and choose "Save As." When the "Save As" window opens, click into the box next to "File name" so that the cursor appears at the end of the file extension. Delete the "4" from the end of the extension and replace it with "3."
- Scroll down the "Folders" pane in the "Save As" window and choose the folder on the hard drive where you want to save the MP3. Press the "Save" button. A copy of the MP4 file saves into the folder you selected as an MP3 file

03-02-2011- Other Thoughts: I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. It looks even better than expected and works great. I have no complaints. I purchased it for my 10 year old son who really wanted a "touch" mp4 but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something he would probably break anyway!

02-22-2011- Other Thoughts: I bought this item for my wife for Christmas she loves it. An Ipod (which she originally wanted was way to expensive). She has her movies on the little sd cards and when we go places she watches them while our son naps. She also loads pictures on the thing with no problem. This is the next best thing to an IPOD. I was looking into the 16 gb one for her, for her birthday but she said she is happy with this one. She is trying to figure out how to put games on it and if they can be put on it at all. But she knows more about these things than I do. As long as she is happy that is all that matters to me. As for any help from Pro Ebiz I have not had a problem with support from them at all.

01-11-2011- Other Thoughts: Over the past two months, I have ordered twice from Dinodirect.com. Both shopping experiences were painless. I went in at odd times of the night (think 3 am - couldn't sleep), and the servers were up and responsive. Once I placed my order, I received an email acknowledgment, showing what I had ordered, including the name of the product, price, and order number. For my first order, things were shipped in two pieces. I took advantage of free shipping and was not charged for either. I really appreciated the fact that with each shipment, I received an email confirmation. The first box arrived four business days later and the second box arrived five business days later. Everything was nicely packed and nothing was damaged.
