- The LED bulbs give bright light and save money from cost utility
- Light up your stairs and reduce stumbling at night with these amazing LED bulbs

- Power saving and long life-span LED bulbs are perfect for 24/7 constant use

Color Temperature:

- The photos below were taken in a dark room, without pre-setting the camera or editing the photos afterwards
- Different color temperatures of the LED bulbs can be seen on the trim of the terracotta pot and on the cactus
- The first photo the object was illuminated with cool light. The cool light is the brightest
- The second photo natural white was used, it is similar to sunlight.
- The third photo the warm white can be seen, which is similar to the color of tungsten lighting and halogen lights
The Kelvin Scale:
Color temperature has important applications in lighting. The color temperature of a light source is usually measured in Kelvin's (K) at which the heated black-body radiator matches the color of the light source is that source's color temperature

- Higher color temperatures (5000 K or more) are "cool" (green-blue) color, and lower color temperatures (2700-3000 K) "warm" (yellow-red) color
Type of Fitting:
On the pictures below the most common fittings are shown. If you know your fitting, you can easily find the right LED bulbs equivalent

10-07-2010- Other Thoughts: Yes, the light from the 3W White bulb is very white. The light is a bit pricey -- I'm hoping the price will come down over time. I'm also hoping for brighter versions of the bulb moving forward. It is not a light you could comfortably read under, but it makes for good accent lighting.

09-08-2010- Other Thoughts: I purchased one of these from Dino. com as an experiment to see how these light bulbs performed. I was fore-warned from other reviews that the bulbs were very blue and pretty dim, and that they were.
I could tell a night-and-day difference between this bulb and an ordinary incandescent. It's (very) noticeably dimmer than the energy-saving compact fluorescent bulbs I have around my house.
So why do I like them? Well, an ordinary incandescent bulb might use 60 watts of power and this thing uses 3. Even 60-watt replacement compact fluorescent bulbs use about 17 watts of power, so these bulbs even make other "energy saving" bulbs look like power hogs by comparison.
The key consideration before buying is where you think relatively dim bulbs might make sense for your needs. For me, I have a porch light and two lights on either side of my garage that run all night. The light is enough to illuminate that outdoor area well enough, and since the lights run all night, using these light bulbs saves quite a bit of juice!
My recommendation would be to use these bulbs as dim porch lights or maybe hallways, but use compact florescent
bulbs indoors if you need more lighting.

08-18-2010- Other Thoughts: The light from this bulb is so white that it seems like one of those bluish fluorescent light bulbs that are used for fish tanks or raising certain plants indoors. I mean it -- it's BLUE!!
On the good side, it does seem durable, the spread of light is wide and even (just like an incandescent bulb), and its output is similar to a 15W bulb. If they would just replace the LED inside with "warm white" LED, this would be a good product.

09-29-2010- Other Thoughts: I'm not real familiar with LED bulbs but this one was 12 bucks and said it was one of the brightest out there. I put in my lamp and to my disappointment it was very dim. Almost like a 15 watt refrigerator bulb in a living room lamp. It's color reminded us of haunted house lighting.
Being as this was a shipment I have decided to donate it. The last thing I want to do is spend more money returning it to Dino.

11-17-2010- Other Thoughts: I got this to put in the hallway since my daughter LEAVES THE LIGHT ON ALL THE TIME. I won't complain about the light being on any more.
The cons: They are a bit pricey, but I waited for a sale. The color is very blue, but it doesn't bother me.
These are very good bulbs if you know what to expect up front. I intend to buy more.
