How to Use an Egg Cooker:
Cooking eggs isn't exactly a science, but using an egg cooker ensures a fool-proof, perfect egg every time. If you prefer to have your eggs in seconds, a microwave egg cooker would suit you best. Electric egg cookers are also available for those who don't like the consistency of microwaved eggs. Just because you're not slaving over a hot stove doesn't mean you can't have delicious eggs. You can change the flavor of your eggs by adding extra ingredients before cooking, such as bacon, cheese, onions and peppers
Microwave Egg Cooker:- Grease the well of the egg cooker with butter or non-stick cooking spray
- Break an egg and empty the contents into the well of the egg cooker
- Break the yolk with a fork to keep it from exploding while it cooks. Season it with salt, pepper or any other seasoning that you prefer
- Secure the egg cooker's cover and then place it in the microwave
- Heat the egg for approximately 30 seconds on high if you like soft-cooked eggs. Let the egg rest for another 30 seconds before taking it out
- Cook the egg on high for approximately 40 seconds if you like hard-cooked eggs. Allow the egg to rest for one minute before taking it out
Electric Egg Cooker:
- Grease the tray of the electric egg cooker with butter or non-stick cooking spray
- Add water to the heating plate according to your egg cooker's instructions, and lay the cooking rack on top of the heating plate, followed by the cooking tray
- Crack the eggs and empty them into the tray. Season them with your favorite seasonings and cover them with the poaching tray. Place the lid on top, and make sure that it is secure before proceeding
- Adjust the settings according to the number of eggs you're cooking and how you want them cooked (soft or hard)
- Turn the egg cooker on, and allow the eggs to cook until the water has completely evaporated. Remove the eggs from the tray with a spatula, and then turn the machine off
