How to Clean Up Laptop Spills:
Spilling a drink on your laptop is a quick way to ruin both your day, and the computer. If a spill happens, ACT QUICKLY as the key to saving your computer is to get the liquid off fast.- Immediately shut down your computer. You definitely do not want the electrical components firing off when a liquid is on them.
- Wipe up any liquid that you can absorb on the outside of the laptop. If you need to, tilt the laptop or even hold it upside down to get more liquid out.
- Remove any part of the laptop that is not the laptop body itself. Basically, remove anything that is removable. Mouse cord, thumb drives, CDs, battery, power cord, etc.
- After you have removed all the components that can be removed easily, tilt the laptop in a number of different directions and angles to again drain out as much liquid as possible. Tilting the laptop in multiple directions will ensure that there are no small pools of liquid built up somewhere that you cannot see.
- Dry off all of the removable components using the same methods described above.
- Use your hair dryer to dry all of the parts of the laptop that you can. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THE HAIR DRYER IS ON THE COOL SETTING. If the dryer is too hot, it could damage the computer.
- If possible, allow the computer an entire day (24 hrs) to air dry before you reassemble it and turn it on. If you are in a rush, wait AT LEAST one hour before you do this.
- If you attempt to turn the computer on and it does not work properly, then it would likely be a good idea to take it to a local

09-22-2010- Other Thoughts: so far so good, this is my first laptop and i like it very much. no problems everythings working smoothly, easy downloading, playing videos, playing games like cs, or gunbound, no problem. my brother's got a laptop of his own but he's jealous of mine. im not really getting the 5hr battery life, but overall, very nice

08-18-2010- Other Thoughts: We have found this to be a great starter for our daughter as she begins her college education. It is lightweight with adequate memory and hard drive to allow her to run multiple programs. The keyboard is easy to use because she does not feel crowded when trying to type. The touch pad is also easy to use, but she may want to add a mouse or trackball later.

Got it Black Friday at a great price. I love the keyboard, the keys flow really easy, the numberpad it great, screen is amazing and the processor is so fast.

06-08-2010- Other Thoughts: This laptop is great my biggest complaint is the battery life. three hours at most during normal operation, give or take depending. Graphics are pretty great. The sound was horrible, but i bought a external speaker to go with it because i read other reviews. and they were right. My biggest pet peeve with it is the figerprints, but it doesn't take a idiot to use some windex or microfiber towel. I worry about the keys and if they may fall off or not and i read that it happened to one customer but i have written extensive reports on it and find it just fine, its more like they are not well defined enough. they don't stick out far enough for my taste.
