How to Make a Pocket Notebook:
Pocket notebooks come in handy when you have an idea or information that you need to jot down quickly. Pocket notebooks are small and easily fit into a pocket--hence the name--so they are easily accessible. Pocket notebooks can be helpful for anyone, whether they be a business owner or a student. The best part is that they can be easily made with items around your home
- Place all four sheets of notebook paper out in front of you as though you are about to write on them. Fold each sheet of blank notebook paper in half vertically
- Put all of the folded sheets of paper together, with the crease side facing upwards. Fold the papers in half horizontally again while they are together
- Use scissors to cut along the top crease that was made when the papers were folded vertically. This will separate each page so that they open properly. Do not cut the crease that separates each page
- Cut out a rectangle from a cereal box (or fruit snacks, cookies or any other type of thin, cardboard food box). The rectangle should be about half an inch wider than your folded sheets of paper
- Lay the cardboard piece on top of the pages with the design side facing up. Pick the pages up and fold the cardboard piece in half along the blank sheets of paper to make a cover

Upon receiving it, it was exactly what I was hoping for and has been my logbook for all work regarding my college thesis. I know where I'll be getting these in the future!

06-15-2011- Other Thoughts: This Sheets Notebook is really a great laboratory notebook. Though other reviews say that the pages are difficult to rip out, I disagree. If you pull away/sideways from the binding rather than down/along it, the pages will very easily tear from underneath the black binding cover. I am much happier with this notebook than the ones they sell in the college bookstore.

06-09-2011- Other Thoughts: The notebook does everything it needs to do; lets you write on it and leave a copy behind. The only thing that bothered me was that the pages are not ripping friendly, not even the carbon copies. Which makes no sense if your looking to turn a copy in and keep the original to yourself. Other than that everything was fine.

05-26-2011- Other Thoughts: This notebook is far cheaper and of much higher quality than those available at my student store. I like that it's not spiral bound and that it has a nice, thick cover which won't easily absorb water or other spills on the cover or back cover.
