- Wicker picnic baskets are something that once started to go out of fashion and were rarely seen for a number of years. They went out of vogue during the 1950's but are now starting to become popular again. Many of these wicker picnic baskets that look like a suit case come equipped with food containers, plastic bottles for milk and other drinks, and food containers and canisters for sugar, etc. In fact they have everything you could possibly want on a picnic including salt and pepper pots
- Then there are special parts inside wicker picnic baskets designed specially to hold plastic, or melamine plates, cups and even cutlery neatly and safely stowed away inside the case. These things are usually stored inside the lid. Lifting out the picnic rug which is traditionally tartan makes room for the actual food to be stored. - Wicker picnic baskets are easy to transport because all you have to do is to pack your food, put the rug back inside and do up the case. Then you can easily carry it if you are walking or simply slip it into your car in one easy movement. 11-25-2010- Other Thoughts: I got this Wicker Picnic Basket for my 2yr old for Easter and she absolutely loves it! we've had 9 picnics since Easter. (Some Indoors) It's a great way to get the little one out into the sun and fresh air. It's durable and lightweight, simmple and well-made. It also has room for some food or drinks, but probably not all u need. My daughter likes it because it's small enough for her to carry.

01-28-2011- Other Thoughts: This Wicker Picnic Basket is a wonderful picnic basket. The quality of the products in the basket is unmatched. Contains glass plates and stemware and stainless steel decanters and cups along with a plethora of other high-end items. This is the picnic basket you pull out on special occasions. Everyone will covet it but few will possess it mostly because they cant afford it. Great quality but pricey.

01-13-2011- Other Thoughts: My daughter and I love having picnics so we knew this would be an excellent gift for her! I love the basket and it seems sturdy enough to last a while. The dishes and everything fit nicely inside so it's a toy that can easily be sent over to the grandparents' for a play date.

10-21-2010- Other Thoughts: This Wicker Picnic Basket, maybe a tad overpriced, was perfect for what my granddaughter loves to do...party with her "babies." She uses the cups/saucers for her tea parties then packs them up and brings them to mom mom's house for picnics. She loves it!

03-04-2011- Other Thoughts: This is a gorgeous wicker picnic basket! Everything you would need is in there and beautifully matched. No plastic here, every detail is quality, right down to the little glass salt & pepper shakers. It is pricey, but when you are getting a gift for someone who has everything, this basket will impress.
