Here are some pointers for cleaning up what dogs do naturally- Buy a poop scooper, which is a specially designed scoop and shovel for dog waste cleanup. Simply scoop the poop into the shovel and dispose of in a trash can. Pet supply stores carry a wide variety of poop scoopers in different sizes and styles. There is one variety that comes with biodegradable bags that cover the entire scooper so that it stays clean
- Bring along plastic grocery bags or BioBags on your walk. BioBags are environmentally-friendly, "plastic bags" that are biodegradable and compostable and specifically designed for picking up dog waste (it could get a little cumbersome lugging a poop scooper). There are also FlushEze pet waste bags that can be flushed down the toilet. And for added convenience, you can purchase Dispoz-A-Scoop, a disposable plastic bag scooper with a handle and metal edge

11-26-2010- Other Thoughts: I just got a small dog and this is perfect for our daily walks. I tend to be a gagger so there is no way I was going to use just a plastic bag. The bags that come with it works great, I've tried some others and while they work, they take a little more time to put on. Regular grocery bags work fine also. I've recommended this to others because of it's ease of use.

10-20-2010- Other Thoughts: The item works great for cleaning up when out for the dog walk. No more getting your hands into the mess. The garbage bag goes right over the scooper, do the thing, and then tie the bag shut. I use tall waste bags purchased at the grocery store.

10-02-2010- Other Thoughts: This is a well made piece of equipment, it's even pretty,(pink color). Best if all it does the job. It even picks up dog droppings, a real problem in our area. Dog droppings, wet or dry, large or small are a cinch!
