How to Install a Door Phone:

• Remove the battery-compartment lid from the bottom of the doorbell-speaker panel. In some cases, a screw on the lid must be removed first with a Phillips jeweler's screwdriver
• Adjust the switches inside the battery compartment, if any are present, to a pre-set pattern with the tip of a flat-edged jeweler's screwdriver. Remember this pattern for setting the receiver-speaker panel later
• Insert a battery or batteries (depending on the manufacturer) into the battery compartment. Close the lid and reattach the screw if one is present
• Screw the doorbell-speaker panel to the side of the door at about chest level (or onto the door) using wood screws and a Phillips screwdriver
• Remove the battery-compartment lid from the bottom of the receiver-speaker panel in the same manner as Step 1. Adjust the switches inside the battery compartment, if any are present, to the pre-set pattern remembered, with the tip of a flat-edged jeweler's screwdriver
