How to Measure the Case of a Watch?
- Locate the lugs or arms. The lugs or arms are the parts that extend from the top and from the bottom of the watch case. The lugs hold the watchband in place with the help of a small rod or pin. Watch arms can be different widths and lengths depending on the men's watch or women's watch brand and model, so knowing the measurements is very important
- Measure the space between lugs. It is important to be precise when measuring the space between watch arms. Use a metric ruler with clear millimeter markings and don't estimate. The millimeter is a small unit, so the slightest mistake could cause you to purchase the incorrect size watchband. Be sure to measure the space between both sets of lugs to be certain that they are the same
- Measure the face of the watch. Measuring the face of the watch can help you visualize how the new watchbands will look, and it can also be useful when shopping for a new watch entirely. Millimeters are still recommended, although other measurement types may be used by some watch retailers
How to Clean a Wristwatch:
Environmental pollutants and salts and oils from your skin build up on a wristwatch over time. These not only make the watch look dirty, but damage the watch's metals and other materials, such as leather straps. To keep your watch looking and functioning well as long as possible, you should clean it often--at least once a week if you wear the same watch daily. Cleaning a wristwatch takes little time and effort.- Use clean toothpicks to remove residue from between metal links, as worldofwatches.com suggests. Do this gently so the toothpick tip does not break off
- Use a soft toothbrush to clean stainless steel or rubber watch bands. Wet the brush under running water and place a drop of a mild soap (such as hand soap) on the bristles. Hold the watch by the face to avoid splashing that area with water (even if it is water resistant) and brush the band with the soapy toothbrush. If your band is of a soft metal (silver or gold), use a soft cloth instead of a brush. If the band is leather, do not use water or soap--clean with leather cleaner, applied to the band with a soft cloth only
- Rinse metal bands with clean water--again make sure you hold the watch by the face to avoid that area getting too wet
- Dry the watch band with a soft towel. Wet a cotton swab with water and clean the back and front of the watch, including the face. Dry this area with a soft cloth

Warnings:
How to Wear a Wristwatch:- Choose a wrist to wear your watch. Wrist watches can be worn on the right wrist or the left; the choice is purely personal. Traditionally, watches are worn on the left wrist. This could be because, since many people are right handed, it was easier to adjust the time using the dial located on the right of the watch
- Place the watch on your wrist so that the number six on the watch face is closest to your thumb. Do this before actually strapping the watch on. This step ensures the watch is facing the proper direction and that you will be able to easily read the watch once strapped on
- Put the watch on. For a strap style that adjusts to your wrist, feed one end of the strap though the buckle and insert the retainer pin in a hole, like putting on a belt, so it feels comfortable on your wrist. Ensure the watch fits onto your wrist so that the watch is neither too tight (so as to cut off blood circulation) or too loose (so to fall over your wrist and onto your hand, possibly coming off completely). Watches with stretchy bands go around the hand onto the wrist. Clasp-style watches require catching the clasp with the opposing ring and snapping the clasp shut to secure the watch
- Report to your local jewelry store for a proper fitting. Jewelry store personnel are experts at fitting watches. This step is likely to be required if the watch you are wearing has metal links because such watches require special tools to remove links in order to fit the watch properly. Jewelry store personnel are also equipped to fix leather or rubber strap watches should those watch straps break

01-05-2011- Other Thoughts: I got this watch for Christmas and have been very pleased with it. It's comfortable to wear and all of the features seem to work great. I haven't tested it to the max by any means, but it has a LOT of features for a very inexpensive watch. I just wanted a casual watch, so it met my requirements and then some.

01-01-2011- Other Thoughts: I bought this watch over a year ago and it's still running just as good as the first day I got it in the mail, I have had no problems with it or the other features. In fact I am impressed with all of the features on this watch. I swim with it on, and it has never stopped or fogged up. The only thing I have somewhat of a problem with is the buttons and how there a little tedious to push, that is my only complaint! Other then that, this is the best watch I have ever bought and I will keep using Sport watches for as long as they make them!!

12-22-2010- Other Thoughts: It works fine. Great to take on vacation especially in a plane when you want to know what time it is but your cell phone is turned off. My husband sets it for me since I have little patience for that kind of thing. He doesn't seem to have a problem with it. I don't expect it to last for a long time. I guess I have low expectations and with a watch that costs not so much I think that's a good thing. I do recommend it.

12-15-2010- Other Thoughts: I really like this watch. It's comfortable to wear to work everyday. The only complaint I have is setting it. Even with the instructions, it's hard to set. I'm not really sure how I did it the first time, but now with Daylight Savings, I can't reset it, so I just have to add an hour for the next 6 months till we change again. Or maybe I can find someone who can figure it out

11-25-2010- Other Thoughts: I bought this watch 2 years ago, and I'm buying another one because I unfortunately lost it. I'm not a runner and never really used any of its gadgets, but I wore it everyday. It's a very comfortable and durable watch. It worked great even after all the float trips, hikes and swimming I did.

11-11-2010- Other Thoughts: The watch looks far more expensive than it is! i bought it as a present and my wife was very very happy, never even noticed it was a more affordable watch and she is using it for the gym and we went to the hotsprings and jogging she went in the hot pools with it and it works just fine! only delta is that is very small so if you are a lady with thick wrists it will look very very small, otherwise it's a total keeper!
