• Begin with small, 6-inch hops off stable, soft ground. When flying these little hops, slightly adjust your helicopter's trim to get your helicopter to fly straight without banking, turning or pitching abnormally when moving forward
• Practice hovering your helicopter at 3 feet for 30 seconds or so.
