How to Clean Burn Stains From Stainless Steel Pans Naturally:

Clean the burn stains from stainless steel pans Naturally! Stainless steel pans are an essential part of any chef's kitchen. They are safer than pans with non-stick surfaces But, they can be REALLY hard to clean! Don't reach for the toxic chemical cleaners! Use this all natural and very easy method- Wash the pan in hot soapy water and remove any food residue using a normal washing method
- Place the pan on a level surface and fill to the top with vinegar
- Let the pan sit overnight. The vinegar will begin to erode the burnt oil/food
- In the morning or after about 12 hours, empty most of the vinegar (recycle to shine up stainless steel sinks!)
- Use the remaining vinegar and a scrubbing pad to remove the remaining burnt spots. A water/baking soda paste may also help to get the final burnt areas clean
- Alas, if the methods above fail, place the pan back on the stove and fill half full with vinegar. Bring to a boil and allow the burnt areas to cook for 10-15 minutes
Tips & Warnings
- Sometimes adding vinegar while the pan is still hot will speed up the process
- Follow cooking safety when working near flames or heat
How to Clean the Bottom of Stainless Steel Pans:

Stainless-steel cookware is popular because it's lightweight, long-lasting and simple to clean. Over time, your stainless-steel pans may develop stains on the bottom. These stains, often black in color, come from the heat of the stove top and any spilled food or grease. Take care of your stainless-steel cookware by removing stains from the bottom of your pans using supplies you can probably find in your kitchen
Instructions:
- Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into a dishpan. Boil water in your tea kettle and pour it into the dishpan. Swish the solution around to mix the vinegar and water.
- Place your stainless-steel pans in the vinegar solution so the stained bottom is sitting in the solution. Allow the pans to sit for five minutes.
- Pour out the diluted vinegar solution and fill the dishpan with hot water and a squirt of dishwashing liquid.
- Crumpled aluminum foil makes a great dish scrubber for tough stains water foil. Scrub the bottom of your stainless-steel pan with the foil
- Rinse and dry your stainless steel pan if the stain is fully removed
- Pour 2 cups of white vinegar into your dishpan if the stain persists. Place the pan in the vinegar so the stained bottom is covered. Add more vinegar for more then one pan. Allow the pans to sit in the vinegar for 30 minutes
- Wash your stainless-steel pans, using the crumpled aluminum foil as a scrubber. Rinse them with water and dry them with a clean cloth
