Nalgene
Nalgene water bottles are relatively cheap (under $10), and have been popular for years among athletes and non-athletes alike. They are large enough to carry your water supply for a full day at school or work, or for a long run. The cap is attached to the bottle with a loop. These bottles come in a wide variety of colors, and many people enjoy personalizing them with stickers.
CamelBak
CamelBak makes several different soft plastic water bottles. Compared to the rigid shape of a Nalgene, these bottles' soft frames might be easier to drink from while moving or running. They are also inexpensive (under $10), but they do not come in nearly as wide a variety of colors as some other water bottles.
Sigg
Sigg water bottles have become particularly popular recently, thanks in part to their flashy colors and designs. They are made out of recyclable aluminum rather than plastic. Klean Kanteen

How to Clean a Plastic Water Bottle
The more plastic water bottles you are able to clean and reuse, the fewer water bottles that will end up in your local landfill. To reuse the water bottles, you want to clean them effectively by using ingredients that remove both residue and bacteria. You don't want to use a harsh chemical such as bleach, because while it is effective in cleaning, it is harmful if ingested so it's not appropriate for use on your water bottles- Fill the water bottle with warm water, vinegar and dish soap. Use 2 drops dish soap and 2 drops vinegar per cup of water used.
- Hold your hand over the opening of the bottle, and shake the plastic bottle for 10 seconds.
- Discard the water, pouring some of the solution onto a paper towel.
- Wipe the lip and exterior of the bottle with the paper towel.
- Rinse the bottle both inside and out with warm water. Sit the bottle aside and allow to air dry.

10-31-2011- Other Thoughts: It's a water bottle. It doesn't leak, doesn't have BPA, and doesn't impart a smell or taste to water. <br/>It fits easily into a car cup holder. The loop on the lid is very handy for carrying the bottle around when your hands are full.

10-26-2011- Other Thoughts: This bottle is made to carry in your hands or in your day pack side pocket, not loose in a bag. If you use it properly, "on the go" it's a great bottle for hikes and biking. It's small enough to carry, but big enough to quench your thirst for several hours of activity. A great buy, all the way around.
