09-22-2010- Other Thoughts: I purchased this bag in classic dark a month ago. The black color shown in the pictures is not fake - the bag looks gorgeous. It needs no breaking in but will become softer after use. The bag is thick enough to feel substantial but not stiff as to feel uncomfortable. I've found it to be the perfect size - large enough to carry the items I need for school without being bulky.
