03-21-2011- Other Thoughts: This is a great shopping bag. Purchased four, but so far have only ever filled three in one shopping trip. They are plenty roomy, and the canvas is sturdy as are the handles. I also love that one bag holds what about three plastic shopping bags used to ... not only am I reducing the need for using those plastic bags, but it's a whole lot easier to bring the groceries in from the car!

03-19-2011- Other Thoughts: I researched all the bags out there,and these are the ones I bought. They are a great size. Heavy duty, great handle. I put some I bought in my van and my husband's car. He has already used them and thinks they are great. He said that alot more people are using recycled bags in the grocery store. I haven't washed them yet, but from the other reviews they seem to do good. It's our way of doing something for the planet!

03-09-2011- Other Thoughts: I bought these bags over 8 years ago. They have held up amazingly well. They are pricey but IMO, they are worth it. I have bought other canvas bags but none hold up as well as these. I have carried HEAVY things in them and none of the straps have come loose (or even fallen off) unlike other brands. They do shrink quite a bit in the wash but I'm glad I can wash them at least!

I bought four of them to use primarily for grocery shopping, and every time I use them, someone comments favorably about them. They are roomy, (the largest I could find online) and sturdy and well-made. And I love that they're Fair Price, Fair Trade. It makes me feel that I'm doing something for those who make them as well as a positive mark on the environment. <br/>I recommend them heartily to anyone concerned with the planet who loves to find a product that's everything the manufacturers claim it to be!
