How to Watch Video on a Sony PSP:

Though the PSP may seem like just your average handheld video game system, it is also capable of storing and playing a variety of files including movies and music. If you want to watch full-length movies from your PSP, you can do so from files stored on your PSP's memory stick or a UMD disc. Properly initiate the movies on the PSP and enjoy your favorite videos wherever you go

 

UMD Disc:

• Insert the UMD disc into the disc holder on your PSP
• Turn on the PSP by sliding the power switch on the right side of the unit up
• Scroll to the right on the PSP's main menu and stop on the "Video" option
• Scroll down to "UMD" option and press the "X" button to open the disc and begin playing the video on the PSP

Memory Stick Duo:

• Turn off the PSP and insert the Memory Stick Duo containing the video files into the PSP's memory slot
• Turn the PSP on by sliding the power switch up and scroll to the "Video" category from the PSP's main menu
• Scroll down and select "Memory Stick" by pressing the "X" button
• Press the "X" button over the movie file which you would like to watch to begin playing it

• Insert the UMD game disc for a GPS-compatible PSP title such as "Nav-U," "Go!Explore," "Hot Shots Golf" or "Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops" into your PSP
• Connect the GPS Receiver for PSP to the USB port above the system's screen. Use your fingers to tighten the mounting screw on the receiver's left side. Do not over-tighten as the receiver is not intended to be permanently mounted to the PSP
• Flip the main panel of the GPS receiver up so the face reading "GPS" is pointed skyward
• Turn on your PSP and launch your GPS-compatible software from the "Game" section of the device's main menu. On "Go!Explore" or "Nav-U," choose "Map" or "Search" to launch the software's live-updating GPS features
