How to Connect a Wire to the Computer for a Sony Cybershot 2.1:



A Sony Cybershot 2.1 is a an older digital camera from the Sony electronics company. The 2.1 stands for the megapixels the camera is able to record into its memory bank. Once the images are saved onto the flash card inserted into the camera, it is possible to directly upload the pictures onto a computer with a USB wire. This wire runs from the camera to the computer and allows the computer to detect the Sony equipment

• Plug the provided USB data cable into the USB port on your Sony Cybershot 2.1 digital camera.
• Insert the opposite end of the USB data cable into a USB port on the computer
• Power on the Sony Cyber shot 2.1. Momentarily the computer states it has detected a new, removable device
• Click "Start," "Computer" and double-click the digital camera icon. This opens a window onto the screen with all the images stored on the camera. Click-and-drag the pictures from the open window onto your desktop to import the digital files

How to Use a Camera USB Port:

Some digital video and still photo cameras come with a built-in USB port.
