Colour Temperature:

My first fluorescent lights were bought in a local grocery store and I was very disappointed with the color tone (they were white like paper). So I did my research and found out that these bulbs, at the good temperature range. Good choice.

I find it takes just a few seconds for the bulb to come to full power in the cold and in the house it comes up like a regular bulb. One last note, the end of the bulb is not as rounded and may not fit in some fixtures. It is not much different, but worth noting for those rare fixtures. The last two are my reason for 4 stars.

I got four of these for my sister as a Christmas present. She is using them in the garage, in bathrooms, and on the front porch. They are excellent for lighting the way when you don't want to turn on (or can't find) the light switch.

I have 6 of these throughout my home and I love them. I tried another type and was not as satisfied as they seem to say on even when the main light source is on. These turn off appropriately. Highly recommended.

I've tried a number of LED light bulbs, and this one is impressive. It is very reasonalbly priced and gives fairly warm lighting. In certain situations, (color of the room, the lamp, ect), it gives off a very attractive light. In others, it can look like a florescent. and you can't beat the price.
