Instructions:- Find a specific place for sticky notes on your desktop. If one is not careful, you can end up with sticky notes covering your entire desk. Pick a portion of your desk that is free and available for sticky notes. Remember they are not meant to be a file cabinet, but simply a reminder for tasks
- Color coordinate your sticky notes. Sticky notes come in all sorts of shapes and colors. Separate the tasks you need to do by their nature. Keep tasks that are more important on a certain color of sticky note. Then less important tasks on other colors. Develop a personal system where you accomplish the most important tasks first and then move onto the next
- Remove the sticky notes that are no longer relevant from the desktop. The problem with sticky notes is that they tend to pile up. Once the task is completed make sure to throw that sticky note

You don't have to be ataxiophobic to benefit from Sticky Notes. Sticky Notes software allows you to create computer notes easily and without the clutter and cost of paper. Creating Notes
- Go to Start Menu, choose the Accessories folder and then select Sticky Notes. You can also type the word sticky in the search box of the Start Menu and choose Sticky Notes. The first note will appear on the desktop
- Type your text in the opened note
- To create a new note, just click on the New Note button or use the keyboard shortcut "CTRL+ N." You can also right click the application's icon in the taskbar and select New Note. This will open another blank note in which you can type your text
Saving and Deleting
- You do not have to save your notes. When you close the application and then reopen it, your notes will be exactly where you left them even if you shut down and restart your computer
- Click on "Delete Note" or use the keyboard shortcut "CTRL+D" to delete the note. A new dialog box will ask you to confirm that you want to delete the note. Click "Yes"
- Click on "Don't display this message again" if you want to disable this confirmation. The next time you delete a note the command will be executed without the need to confirm
Customizing
- Saving time and money makes a computer user smile.
- Drag the note from the bottom right corner to make it smaller. Drag it out to make it larger
- To change the note's color, right click on the note and select the color of your choice from the color options menu
- To format or change the text size, select the text you want to change and use such shortcuts as "Ctrl+B" for bold, "Ctrl+I" for italics, "Ctrl+Shift+>" for a bigger font and "Ctrl+Shift+<" for a smaller font. Sticky Notes follows the established short cut protocol
