How to Maintain:

- Proper care will increase the life of your leg warmers and will reward you with longer wear and dependability
- Put your new leg warmers in the refrigerator for one or two days, then take it out, and leave it for one day, thus toughness of the socks can be strengthened in this way
- You can hand wash your high leg warmers with warm water using a mild or delicate soap. Wash them in lukewarm water or lower. Avoid chlorine, bleach, fabric softeners
- Rinse in lukewarm water. Hang the leg warmers in the open air, and keep them away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not wring or twist the leg warmers
How to care for Tights and Hosiery:

Women's tights keep us warm on a cold day or can act as a fashion statement. They come in different textures, colors and patterns to go with our most serious business suit or our funkiest after hours outfit. Unfortunately, they can be delicate and need extra TLC to keep them looking good. Take care of your tights and other hosiery to help save you money and to keep a snag from ruining the look!- Instructions
- Store each pair of tights or pantyhose in separate containers. A sandwich size plastic bag works well. This prevents them from snagging while in a drawer or while you sort through them
- Spray your tights with a light mist of hairspray before you wear them. The spray will stiffen the fibers and make them last longer
- Wear cotton underwear with your tights instead of silky or polyester ones. This keeps them from sliding down your leg and you will be more comfortable. The constant tugging to keep them up can cause rips or snags
- Wash with hair conditioner. Soak them in cold water and then add 2 tsp of conditioner. Let the tights sit for a few minutes and gently stir with your fingers. Rinse well and hang to dry. Never put in the dryer
- Keep a thin pear of cotton gloves with your tights. Slip the gloves on before pulling the tights over your legs to keep your fingernails from causing tears

12-25-2011- Other Thoughts: The support was great. I compared these with a pair of stockings with 20-30mmHg mmHg compression by wearing one type of stocking on each foot. Light weight, cooler and more comfortable than traditional medical stockings. Thank you so much for the speedy shipment, they saved my life.

12-22-2011- Other Thoughts: The slender figure is a woman's pursuit of life. These compression stockings are wonderful. They do not slip down. I have washed them 2 or 3 times and they still have the same sturdiness as when I took them out the package. Even though they are sturdy, they are still comfortable. I was actually prescribed 2 pair by my podiatrist and I liked them so much that I decided to purchase more. The Shank Leg Warmers are a great buy.

12-20-2011- Other Thoughts: I have had chronic ankle swelling since I was a teenager. I've gone to several doctors to try to get to the root cause of what is going on and to reduce the amount of swelling. I was never able to get any answers, only larger medical bills. My sister recommended that I try these stockings to reduce my swelling and they combined with a lower sodium diet have completely changed my ankles and my life really. I'm about to buy several more.

12-18-2011- Other Thoughts: They work very well. A little hard to put on, but worth the effort. For women whose work needs long time standing or seating, you should take precautions against varicose veins. This beautiful elastic stockings can prevent varicose veins effectively. Use body or foot powder to help slid the sock on.

12-16-2011- Other Thoughts: I ordered these Women Leg Warmers because I couldn't find a pair in my local drugstore that would fit comfortably. I only use when flying because of history with blood clots. I have large (ok, yes fat) calves and these are tight enough to be effective yet comfortable and do not roll down or pinch.
