How to Measure Women's Pants:
Sometimes it may be difficult for women to find pants that fit them correctly. If a woman is looking for comfort, she might buy pants that are too big. The pants could also be too long or short. There is a way to ensure that you purchase the correct size pant. If you know your measurewoments, finding pants that fit becomes easier. Pants that fit well can enhance your appearance and give you a neater style and look
- A. Measure Your Waist: Place the measuring tape an inch over your belly button. While measuring, stand up straight and do not hold your stomach in. Add another inch to the measurewoment to find your waist size. Most stores carry waist sizes that range form 30 to 42 inches
- B. Measure Your Hips: Place the measuring tape directly across the hip bone area. Usually a man's hip area is almost the same measurewoment as his waist. But sometimes the waist area is bigger then the hips. If the waist is much bigger than the hip, the fit may be baggy around the crotch area and legs. Buy pants that fit the largest part of you and get them professionally altered to fit your body
- C. Measure Your Crotch: Measure the crotch length by starting at the front center waistline and extending your tape measure in between the legs and up to the back center waistline. The crotch depth is measured by sitting on a chair and measuring from the side waist to the chair seat
- D. Thigh: measure around fullest part of upper leg while standing
- E. Measure Your Inseam: Place the measuring tape at your natural crotch to get your inseam Measurewoment. Let the tape fall until it reaches the top of your shoe. Pants should cover the top of the shoe, but they should never touch the floor. They should stop right over the back heel area of your shoe. Wear the shoes that you will most often wear with the pair of pants you are fitting. Shoes make a difference in the inseam measurewoment
- F. Measure Pants for Hemming: When measuring pants for hemming, consider the width of the pant leg, as skinner pants can be hemmed shorter and wide-legged pants look better longer. Measure pants for hemming, make sure each side is equal

How to Choose Maternity Jeans
- Know that one pair of jeans is not going to fit you the entire pregnancy. Your body is changing shape and sizes along with your belly. Unless you want to wear baggy sweatpants, you will need to buy a few different sizes as you grow.
- Find a style that you like. Maternity jeans are now more fashionable than they used to be. You can find maternity jeans that are dark, light, vintage, stretch, boot cut, wide leg, Capri and almost any other style you may like.
- Try on different types of maternity jeans. Maternity jeans come in a variety of styles. You may find that the jeans that fit below your belly are more comfortable than the type that sits above your belly. Try them on to find the right fit for you.
- Shop around for good deals. You will only be wearing these jeans for a few months at the most so you shouldn't spend a lot of money on them. Look through sales racks, garage sales, consignment shops and online for good deals.
How to Convert Regular Jeans Into Maternity Jeans
- Put the jeans on and see how far the zip up. Mark the zipper line with chalk and take off the jeans.
- Draw a half moon shape with chalk, starting at the zipper mark as the lowest point. This half moon will be the part of the jeans that fits under your belly. You don't have to do anything to the back.
- Stitch with your thread and needle over top of the chalk line.
- Cut off the top front of your jeans with scissors above the stitched line.
- Wrap the piece of knit fabric (it should have a high spandex or Lycra content) lengthwise just under your belly to see the length you need, and then sew the ends together so you have a circle that easily fits just above your hips. You don't want it to fit snugly, but without stretching if you still have a long way to grow.
- Sew the elastic band in at the top of your jeans and try them on.

07-29-2010- Other Thoughts: I love this cloth (and my husband told me it's his favorite maternity cloth that I wear). It is long and fitted and it's exactly what I wanted. I still wear it now that I am not pregnant.

11-26-2010- Other Thoughts: I purchased this for my daughter, I was stumped as to what to buy for her as her delivery approached. I had bought a belly band from this company before (which was a hit) and although I had never imagined taking your own delivery cloth to the hospital, I thought it was a novel idea. She really liked it and wore it when my beautiful granddaughter was born - she looked wonderful too and received so many compliments and queries as to where she got it. It turned out to be a great gift, Baby Be Mine, my 2nd purchase and a very contented customer! Thank you. A new Grandma!

04-30-2010- Other Thoughts: These cloth are so awesome I bought a few more! I've tried them all from the $$$$ name brands to super cheap. These are so comfy - they are long enough - and they stay up! I can't say enough about them. So save $100 - $200 <br/>per pair and get yourself a few of these!

02-26-2010- Other Thoughts: I ordered this cloth to wear for Halloween. I thought it was so comfy I wear it to bed now. Most clothes feel too tight or too loose when I'm pregnant. However this cloth feels perfect. My baby bump looked so cute.
