How to Clean a Water Kettle:

Although a water kettle does nothing but boil water, build-up still occurs over time. The ring that you see is actually a lime deposit. Every now and then, follow these steps to keep your water kettle looking clean and new
- Fill the water kettle half way with water
- Add white vinegar to the kettle of water to fill the entire water kettle
- Boil the half water, half white vinegar mixture
- Set aside the water kettle for a few hours or overnight
- Pour out the white vinegar and water from the water kettle
- Fill the water kettle again with water
- Boil again
- Repeat this until the vinegar smell is no longer present

Always fill the water kettle above the "minimum line" and below the "maximum line." Too little water and the unit may overheat, causing a fire hazard. Too much water and the water might boil over, risking injury of scalding or burning
