How to Install a PC Subwoofer:
Boost your low end by adding a subwoofer to your PC speaker configuration. Most new speaker sets in the mid-priced range already come with a subwoofer. Installing the subwoofer is part of the process of installing the speakers
Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Speaker set with subwoofer
Instructions
- Unpack your speakers and subwoofer
- Position the speakers as close to ear level as possible and the subwoofer on or near the floor. Make sure you identify the left and right speakers
- Shut down your computer
- Use the supplied cables to connect your speakers and subwoofer to each other. The configuration of your cables will be different depending on the set you bought-some speakers are hardwired to each other, some aren't
- Connect your speaker unit to the sound card on your computer. Usually all you need to do is match up the color of the jack on the speaker cable to the color of the input on the sound card
- Start your computer
- Plug your speakers into a power source then turn the speakers on. Test the speakers
Tips & Warnings
- If the subwoofer has the speaker controls on the front make sure to place this somewhere within easy reach
- It's usually easiest to position the speakers and subwoofer first, and then drop the cables down the back of the desk or whatever they are sitting on. Depending on what type of computer desk you have and how long the speaker cables are, you may find it easier to connect them up first then position them afterwards

07-06-2011- Other Thoughts: I just bought this Multimedia Subwoofer Speaker.Its awesome.Initially I thought they are going to be big speakers.But I am surprised by the size of the system.Very small size than I expected.But the sound coming from them is exceptional.They sound loud enough in my room.The bass and treble are so perfect at low volumes they sound like professional studio speakers. <br/>These are loud enough and make you happy when you listen to music coming from them.I am happy and recommend others to buy it.

07-27-2011- Other Thoughts: These were the least expensive speakers I came across that came with a subwoofer. It may be small, but it definitely does the job. Bass is good. The speakers themselves are small and perfect for my home desk. My boyfriend was surprised at how good my music sounded!

06-14-2011- Other Thoughts: The 2.1 CH Subwoofer Speaker alone sound very low-quality, but when you turn up the sub-woofer, it instantly sounds amazingly clear and high quality. <br/> <br/>Wires are short in some places and long in others, so may cause problems for some set ups. <br/> <br/>Also, speakers only sound good when listener is nearby. Walk about 10 feet away and quality starts to degrade.

06-28-2011- Other Thoughts: So far I love this system. I bought one about a year for the same price, different brand and it does not even begin to compare to the sound quality this one has. I recommend this for anyone who is living on campus or wants a good system for their computer.

07-20-2011- Other Thoughts: This speakers are good quality and loud sound. I use it for my dorm room and it works perfect for such setting! They work pretty good and I have been using them for almost a month now!
