How to Measure for Curtains:
Measure Width:
- If you have a pole, measure the distance between the finials (the decorative baubles at the end of a pole)
- If you have a track, measure the total length of the track
Measuring Curtain Drop:- Before you start, you have to decide where you want your curtains to finish. For floor-length curtains, we suggest curtains 1.5cm longer than floor-length. If your floors are uneven, make sure you measure each side of the window and choose the longest measurement. For sill length curtains, we suggest either 15cm below the sill or 1-2cm above it
Measuring Drop for Tab Top and Eyelet:
- For tab top or eyelet curtains, measure the drop from the top of your pole to where you want your curtain to finish. (Please note:tab top and eyelet headed curtains cannot be fitted to a track.)
Measuring Curtain Drop For Pleated Headings (all except Tab Top & Eyelet):- The total drop for pleated headings is measured in 2 parts - the eye drop and the heading height
Part 1. Eye Drop:
- This is the distance from the eye (where the curtain hook attaches) to where you want your curtain to finish
Part 2. Heading Height:- The heading height is the distance from the eye to where you want the top of your curtain to be
- For tracks, we suggest a heading height just above the top of your track so that it is not visible above the top of the curtain
- For poles, we suggest a heading height from 2cm above the eye to just above your curtain pole according to your own taste. Curtains will hang best with a smaller heading height

04-10-2011- Other Thoughts: The curtain does not really black out the room. About 10-20% of light gets through. It does not insulate the room very well from the cold air outside.

03-26-2011- Other Thoughts: My bedroom has a huge window span right by my bed so I'd wake up every morning freezing from the draft. I picked this up to do something about that. I wasn't expecting much but sure enough they completely eliminated the draft. The room stays much warmer and I sleep much better. I'm looking forward to seeing the effect they have on my energy bill.

03-22-2011- Other Thoughts: These are great curtains for the money, have a faux silk appearance, heavy material, thermal layer and lining really good quality albeit made in China. My only criticism would be that they dont have tape to use with curtain hooks for traverse drapery rods, but has pockets for use with a regular 1-2" curtain rod..

03-19-2011- Other Thoughts: We live in an apartment in an area with several street lights that light our room at night. I purchased these in an effort to reduce the amount of light in the room. There was a time that I could walk in my room and still see because of the bright lights. Now I cannot go in my room without having a light on, these are so effective. I love that there are two different ways to hang the curtains. The blackout is great and I plan to buy another set for our living room for movie watching days.

03-04-2011- Other Thoughts: love them! the color is awesome! pretty much looks like the image. They block out a good amount of light. So far i feel like its been keeping the heat in which is also what i needed. <br/>The curtains are absolutely wonderful. They are full and SOFT. I have had other blackout curtains that were always very stiff, these hang beautifully. We are very happy with them.

03-01-2011- Other Thoughts: I got these in burgandy to cover a patio door. When I opened the package I was immediately impressed with the slight sheen and softness of the material. The manufacturer folded the curtains in such a way to put them into the package that you can take them right out and hang them. All the creases are vertical. <br/> <br/>I put these up on a sunny day and the light blocking was excellent. I took a picture with the drapes down and then when I tied them back the light outside was so bright compared to the drapes that the curtains themselves were blacked out in the picture. <br/> <br/>I am VERY happy with the quality and performance of this product and am in the process of purchasing more for bedroom windows.
