- The NDS Lite Touch screen replacement module. The touch screen goes on top of the lower LCD screen, which is sold separately. These are Sharp products, and all screens are 100% pre-tested by the manufacturer and are packaged in a hard protective carton box for shipment
- Professional installation recommended and required. However, if you wish to install yourself, you will need a special tri-wing security driver tool to get inside the NDS. Note that this installation requires moderate technical skill. When self-installing, please make sure you are patient and have steady hands as additional damage can result if you are not careful

01-22-2011- Other Thoughts: We bought this top screen replacement for our daughter's Nintendo DS. This is the second time we have to buy one, since she is a very active girl, thus her DS must necessarilly go according (DS dropped from the top of a tree, left out in the rain, etc.). The two times we have bought this replacement (I don't remember if it was from the same seller), it has worked great. WE TAKE THE DS TO A TECHNICIAN, FROM A WELL KNOWN STORE THAT PERFORMS THIS KIND OF REPAIR. DO NOT TRY to install it yourself, as we have read that an inexpert person is very likely to damage the very delicate parts of the replacement. I will suggest this, even if you consider yourself a person with some experience with electronic devices. <br/> <br/>About this seller, I must say that the delivery was on time, in perfect condition, with a great price. Highly recommended.

01-19-2011- Other Thoughts: This replacement screen worked out perfectly! It takes some steady hands and you can't be in a hurry, but it can be done! My only wish would be for an option to choose a color frame stick-on cover so the screen can match your NDSL. 12-24-2010- Other Thoughts: I had to get a new touch screen for the DS Lite so I purchased this one. Basically, if the touch screen is not responding but you can still see the image, it is only the touchscreen and not the whole bottom screen. It was well packed and came with protective coatings. You have to buy the tri screw driver separately, so, I bought a set that came with a series of different types of ends that work with a few items I have. <br/> <br/>I went to youtube and followed instructions on how to change the touch screen and it was quite easy. I live in the islands (Caribbean), so it would cost me too much to ship it and have it returned, so I pulled a do-it-yourself. <br/> <br/>Needless to say, the screen is working again flawlessly.

12-23-2010- Other Thoughts: The touch screen on my DS lite quit working a week ago. I ordered this replacement for a great price and put it in myself using instructions I got off youtube. the screen arrived in less then five days and now my DS works better then ever. The best price I was offered to do the repair was $30. My only warning is to make sure you have the right tools and follow the directions carefully if you dont know what your doing.
