How to Measure Luggage:
- Air travel can be a confusing process if the traveler is not familiar with the size requirements for carry-on and checked luggage. While these restrictions will vary by carrier and airline, it is up to the traveler to check in advance of his flight and make sure all luggage meets the specified size required by the carrier. But don't panic, it's easy to measure luggage and obtain the lineal value most airlines use to note size restrictions
- Measure in lineal inches, adding the length, width and depth of the luggage to obtain the lineal value in inches
- Place the luggage on a table. Using a measuring stick or tape, measure the longest side of the luggage going from left to right. Record the length of the luggage
- Measure from the bottom side of the luggage. With the luggage still positioned sideways on the table, measure from the bottom of the luggage (flush against the table) to the top of the luggage. Record the width of the luggage
- Find the depth by measuring the space between the front side of the luggage and the back side. Locate the zipper and then measure the space between the seam on one side and the seam on another
- Add the length, width and depth of the luggage. For example, if the length is 12 inches and the width is 9 inches and the depth is 4 inches, add all three numbers. In this example, the lineal value is 25 inches

- Bring comfortable shoes. A good rule is to wear 1 pair and pack 2--including a casual shoe or sandal, a tennis shoe and a more formal shoe for dinner
- Pack shoes and heavier items such as bottles, toiletries and electronics on the bottom and sides of the luggage. Tuck undergarments and socks inside shoes to save space. Roll up clothing to use space more efficiently

12-17-2011- Other Thoughts: While I haven't travelled with this yet, I believe it is well constructed and should last a long time--especially as a carry-on. The zippers seem tough, the wheels are sturdy and the handle hardware functions well all in a lightweight unit.

12-13-2011- Other Thoughts: Bought this Travel Luggage as a carry-on for my teenage son when we went to Puerto Rico over the summer. We traveled light and didn't want to check any luggage. He is not very careful with things, but this held up well. It also fit a lot of stuff, even being a smaller piece of luggage. It was definitely worth the price. We had numerous plane changes, yet it looks as good now as the day we received it. Plan to get a lot more use out of it. It cost less than checking a bag for him would have cost.

12-07-2011- Other Thoughts: Carry luggage is affordable. Good color. The expandable body of the luggage makes it easy to pack extra items comfortably. The outside pockets are deep and big enough for items you access frequently during travel. The pull handle works easily and the wheels roll smoothly. Durable enough for electronic items too.

12-03-2011- Other Thoughts: An excellent Wheel Luggage, not to heavy for me to lift even when stuffed full. Got an entire week's worth of summer clothes and swim gear in it! Fewer bulky items would make fall/winter traveling with just this bag a bit more difficult.
