How to Make Velcro Waist Belts:
- Use the measuring tape to measure your waist. Cut two strips of fabric that are as long as your waist, plus an additional six inches. These strips should be as wide as you wish your belt to be, plus a 1/4 inch seam allowance on both sides
- Measure and cut two strips of interfacing. These strips must be slightly shorter and skinnier than the fabric so they do not cover the seam allowance. Sew the interfacing to the wrong sides of the fabric strips. Then sew the strips together with the correct sides facing each other, leaving one end open. Turn the belt inside out so the correct sides of the fabric are facing outward. Sew the final opening closed
- Wrap the belt around your waist, with one end overlapping the other. Mark the place that the top end overlaps the bottom end where the belt fits best. Cut a rectangle from the hook and loop tape. Sew the softer loop portion over the place you marked on the bottom end of the fabric. Sew the prickly hook part slightly inwards from the edge of the top end

08-08-2011- Other Thoughts: Bought this Elastic Waist Support for my wife a month ago and she is happy with it. It will adjust to your waist and fits well. She uses it as a postpartum belt. The only downside is that it is a little pricey.

07-21-2011- Other Thoughts: Was looking for something to wear underneath my clothes to help my stomach look a little flatter after just having a baby. It does its purpose and is actually pretty comfortable! Def. well worth the price compared to all the other ones out there. This is the wife btw

06-23-2011- Other Thoughts: I love this Elastic Waist Wrap. It's surprisingly comfortable (even when I fasten it really snug) and I really think it's made my middle slim down more quickly after having my baby less than two weeks ago. Extra bonus, it washes well (I wash it in cold water and line dry it). Plus, this is much less expensive than some of the other "binders" I looked in to. Buy this thing, you'll be glad you did!

05-19-2011- Other Thoughts: Ordered this Wrap Waist Belt after much review of various types. Pleased with the quality and fit. Have had no problems with it rolling up or down. You just need to position the Velcro at an angle to fit your own curves. I am 4wks post-op abdominal surgery and really wished I have gotten this weeks ago. Support can be tailored to personal preference. Added support really decreased back pain. Would highly recommend. Made it USA also!

04-14-2011- Other Thoughts: I decided to try this as a postpartum belt to help get my waistline back. I was a size 6 before I got pregnant so ordered a small. On the first day it was hard for my husband to even get it to attach but by the end of the first week I was out of velcro to make it smaller! My waist went down significantly and the back support was very helpful in the first week. I didn't wear it after about 10 days because it didn't seem like it was doing anything anymore. I found it hard to put on by myself. I agree with the other reviewers that it does tend to bunch a little and it shows somewhat through clothing, but that didn't bother me.

03-17-2011- Other Thoughts: I purchased this Elastic Waist Belt 1 week after my c-section. I wish I had bought it sooner. It is thicker material than I was expecting (which is great), but comfortable and cool. The fabric does not roll up like similar support bands.

02-17-2011- Other Thoughts: I bought this Cotton Waist Belt to help my postpartum belly return to normal faster. It really helps without being too restrictive. I had a belly band after my previous pregnancy that made it difficult to breath and was very difficult to put on. This is flexible and durable. It sometimes does fold over at the top and bottom edges, but usually that only happens if I have it on too tight. It's not a no-show binder though, and it will be noticable under tight t-shirts.
