How to Hang a Wall Lamp:
- Wall lamps don't take up floor-space and most are easy to install. Some take more time and common tools. Unlike sconces or other wired-in wall light fixtures, wall lamps do not require connections with electrical wires in the walls
- The first step is determining where to hang it. People sometimes put wall lamps in odd places because their cords aren't near enough to an outlet. Plug in the lamp and hold it where you would like to mount it on the wall
- Ask someone to hold the plugged in lamp where you want to mount it, then sit down under the lamp and see if the light is going where you need it. This is important for tasks such as reading or sewing. If it's a swing-arm lamp, stand up and make sure you don't hit the lamp on the way up
- Measure where to position the picture hook for a lightweight pin-up lamp, tap the hook gently into the wall and hang the lamp
- Measure where to place the wall-bracket to attach the covering plate of a heavier wall-mounted lamp. The bracket may sit as much as 1/2 in. below the covering plate, so allow for that. If installing in the middle of a plaster or sheetrock wall, drill holes and install plastic anchors before screwing in the bracket so the weight of the lamp won't pull the bracket screws out of the wall
- Screw plate onto the bracket, using the hardware provided with the lamp

03-10-2010- Other Thoughts: Reading from the reviews I wasn't expecting much from such a low price solar shed light. I went ahead and ordered anyway and I'm very very pleased with the results. The light itself came almost fully pre-charged which aided in not only knowing how bright it would ultimately be, but also was useful in locating a good spot for it in the shed before permanent mounting.

10-20-2010- Other Thoughts: It’s interesting, soothing and relaxing. Works better in white colored walls or ceilings.
Although the projected stars wont represent any known constellation or planet is an incredible visual experience.
And the star thing its just superb!

03-17-2011- Other Thoughts: I purchased this portable power kit recently from another site and happy to now see it here on Amazon! This is awesome! A great feature is the LED lighting strip that we use at night on the deck. Everyone that comes over loves it, it's quite the conversation piece. I will let family and friends know they can purchase them here----great product!

05-06-2010- Other Thoughts: I can see why there is a dichotomy with the ratings. We purchased two of these for our detached garage. One of the lights gives off a relatively bright light, enough to find one's way around with ease at night. The other light was not as bright. The light has a hi-lo switch, and even on the 'hi' setting, the dud-light gave off only a dim glow. We did not return it for another light because after the hastle of installing this light with the solar panel on the roof, it didn't seem that important to us. For future purchasers, remember to give it a test run before installing.

12-15-2010- Other Thoughts: This light is absolutely amazing! In all honesty I wasn't expecting it to be that great. I was pretty much expecting a modified night-light... but I was so wrong. With this laser projector on in a dark room it really feels like I'm looking at the night sky.
