How to Clean a Stainless Steel Bottle?
- Stainless steel bottles are ideal for taking a drink on the go. Cleaning stainless steel bottles is a necessity to remove any residue from the bottle. Furthermore, the bottle may rust if not cleaned and dried properly. Using the proper products to clean stainless steel bottles will help to ensure the bottle lasts for a long time.
- Wash brand-new stainless steel bottles before using. Fill the bottle with equal parts white vinegar and water. Let it soak overnight. This will remove the metallic taste from the bottle and help to prevent it from rusting.
- Empty the contents of the bottle promptly after use. Rinse the bottle with plain water.
- Fill a sink with warm water. Add a few squirts of dish soap. Use your hands to mix up the soap and water.
- Place the bottle into the sink of soapy water. Use a soft rag to clean around the lip or lid of the bottle. Slosh the bottle around in the water several times to clean the inside. The mouth of the bottle is likely quite narrow, making it impossible to get your hand down inside. Use a baby bottle brush to clean any caked-on grime from the inside of the bottle, if necessary.
- Rinse the bottle with plain water. Dry the exterior of the bottle with a dish towel. Turn the bottle upside down on a dish towel to dry.
- Put 1/4 to 1/2 cup uncooked rice into the bottle for an alternative method for cleaning the inside. Fill the bottle halfway with white vinegar and shake it up well. The rice and vinegar will clean the inside of the bottle.
- Discard the rice and vinegar. Slosh the bottle around in the sink with warm, soapy water. Rinse well and allow the bottle to air-dry.

05-06-2011- Other Thoughts: Great bottle, left it in my car with ice in it for 4 hours. Came back out and it still had ice... Car temp said it was 94 outside... This thing is great. Love the top too. Drinking more water now than I ever have. Another great thing to note is this thing does not sweat at all!

06-13-2011- Other Thoughts: I've only had this a couple days now and I already love this. I use it for ice water and I can fit a good amount of ice in with plenty of water. I always put lots of ice in so my water stays cold for well over 12 hours without having to reload on ice. The construction feels very strong all the way up to the cap, and the water doesn't have that added taste you get with plastic bottles, at least in my experience. All plus and no minus so far. Great buy.

05-30-2011- Other Thoughts: This thermos water bottle keeps your water cold for 12+ hours and does not sweat water beads like other products do. Additionally, the large 26 oz capacity ensures you stay hydrated throughout the day. Great product - worth the extra cost relative to other bottles on the line considering how often you will use it.

05-16-2011- Other Thoughts: What a fantastic thermos bottle! It truly does keep liquids cold all day -- when my husband gets home, there is still ice inside! LOVE the fact that you can sip out of it, rather than take the whole thing apart and pour the contents into a cup...SO much easier when you're on the road. I would highly recomment this product.

06-05-2011- Other Thoughts: Pick your shape, pick your style, you will not be disappointed with thermos water bottles! (the only one I was not totally excited with was the squatty one that has the black rubber bottom on it, it is large in circumference for my hand, and this one has an indent around the top for easy grip with small hand.
