    How to Install a Webcam:

    • Read the installation instructions completely before attempting to install the camera. Although this may seem tedious and unnecessary, it can save time and headaches in the long run.
    • Back up the computer's hard drive just to be safe. This will allow for a speedy recovery should the installation mess up the computer.
    • Install the webcam software. Before deciding to install the disc that came with the camera, check the Internet for an updated version of the software and download that if available.
    • Plug in the webcam. The software should give a prompt at the appropriate time. Cameras are usually installed with a USB cable. If installed correctly, the computer will acknowledge so by popping up a message saying it can see the new device.
    • Download an instant message program if using the web camera for chatting. Some free IM download programs include Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Apple iChat.

One thing you need to know is that it does not have a microphone built in... I bought this without realizing that. Luckily my laptop has a built in microphone, and therefore that isn't a problem. But if you don't have a microphone, this isn't the webcam for you. This webcam is amazingly cheap, and a great value for the money. The picture quality is amazing, however fast moving objects can look smeared or pixalated. Great camera over all.f

It is a definite GREAT BUY! Good image quality that can be adjusted, suction cup on the bottom so its easier to place, 4 L.E.D. lights that are very powerful,and a button on top which you can click to add different styles(colors, shades, etc)! It also includes easy install. Simply plugin and wait 30 seconds and your off

I bought this HD USB Webcam for the sole purpose of "skyping" my son, who's visiting China. Using this webcam is a no-brainer: no complicated instructions and no software to install; just plug and play. The picture quality is better than the built-in webcam on my wife's notebook. It is a great value. If you need just a basic webcam, I highly recommend this one!
