How to Wear a Shawl for a Wedding

• Select an appropriate fabric for the weather. The cooler the temperatures are, the heavier you may want your shawl to be. Pick a heavier wool or cotton shawl that can be used to keep your shoulders warm. Lighter fabrics that are made of silk, satin or other sheer material can be used during warmer months as more of an accessory rather than for warmth.
