• I travel a lot and have the GPS service on my Blackberry and I needed a way to hold my phone. I looked at several brands and this seemed to have a good design.
  
  Well, it turns out that the vent holder didn't work as well as I hoped. I don't really blame this design as all the others I researched appeared similar or less capable. The problem is that there are too many different styles of vents. Some had louvers that were to thick or too deep or the control slider was too big. All in all I could never find a vent that this could really fit well and I tried in over a dozen rental cars. Usually it was not able to get a good stable grip.
  
  I have seen no other mount that has multiple interchangeable options for attachment. Dinodirect customer service is great also. I couldn't figure out how to order just the extra mount options but a quick call and they pointed me right to the right web page.
  
  Now I am extremely happy with the holder!

• Have you ever seen the videos of car wrecks where the cell phone is catapulted on impact into the driver's face or head. The phone can crack your skull if not locked down. This little unit really grips your phone. Easy to install and lets you see clearly when someone calls. Add the bluetooth stereo headset and you can take calls or listen to music.

• The design of this phone holder is clever, and simple to mount in the car. Mine is positioned on the top of the dashboard, just to the right of the steering wheel. It is an invaluable aid for driving when using the VZ Navigator on the Blackberry, as it keeps the phone secure, the screen visible, and the commands are audible at that close distance. The design doesn't impede a charging cable either, so the Blackberry can be operating off the car battery while you drive. (Important, since the Navigator uses a lot of juice!) The price is completely reasonable. I'm very satisfied with this gadget.

• This is a great idea, especially if you have a vehicle where you really don't have any place to put your IPhone. It is easy to use and adjustable! No more hunting around to find your phone, you place it in the same place everytime! You will get what you pay for.

• I needed something that would let me enjoy the contents of my iPod Nano 4G during my anticipated long distance drive over the holiday weekend. I tested this puppy out and it is simply wonderful! As noted by other customers, the FM transmitter gives out the clearest audio I have ever heard--no static whatsoever! It's setup to allow the user to easily control/view their mobile Apple device while having it charge. The plug is ingeniously engineered to where you can easily manipulate this plug from fully plugged in to partially unplugged-- this device is reinforced at the plug to stay put if you leave it slightly unplugged. Awesome!--no constant putting away/setting up routines! The USB jack allows me to trickle-charge my phone. 1 plug for both of my most important mobile devices. I am extremely pleased and impressed!

• This does what it says it will, it's not marketed to be anything but a windshield mount. This is fine for keeping your PDA, iPod Touch, iPhone, etc up and at a convenient viewing level. Great for keeping track of mileage or for viewing a gps navigation app, or for any of the other travel related apps available.
  
  The main complaint I have with it, and it's a rather large one (for my uses, at least,) is that when sitting flat on the base of the holder, the bottom covers up the charging port for the iPhone and iPod Touch (maybe other units as well, I can only speak to the ones I have used it with.) Since the Apple units are notorious battery gobblers, it is almost a must to have it on a charger. The main saving grace is the vice-like clip holding the top of the unit in place. The clip will tighten enough to allow you to clip your unit so it is off the bottom and therefore you can connect it to a car charger. However, I always feel like one good pothole is going to send it to the floor, but it has stayed in place so far.

• I use this product to hold my phone in Iraq for a Military Transition team. I stuck this to my windshield back in August when I got the holder and it hasn't moved since. It has held on though some of the most destroyed roads in the Diala Province and the roughest terain in Iraq. It made it through the 130 degree heat of the Iraqi summer and it is still stuck to the windshield during the moderate winter months. I can honestly say that for the conditions that I have put this product through it should hold up just fine in your car.
