How to Install a Car Power Inverter Negative Booster:

• Park the vehicle and open the hood. Disconnect the battery by loosening the positive cable with a wrench and pulling it free with your hand
• Mount the power inverter. Pick a location which will allow plenty of air flow around the inverter as they heat up when used. A typical mounting location is on the lower kick panel in the passenger side of the vehicle under the dash
• Wire the inverter. Run a length of wire from the positive side of the inverter to the car's battery by running the wire through a grommet in the firewall
• Connect the wires. Connect the new positive and negative wires to the wires coming from the inverter to the wires you installed into the vehicle by placing terminal ends on the wires and crimping them in place in the same manner as the positive wire at the battery

• This power inverter is great for air travel and even if you are travelling on the road. It comes with a neat acrry case, is light weight, great to throw in your travel case or computer bag. The inverter has a fan which helps keep the device cool especially useful if you're using it to power your laptop!

• This inverter is compact and does exactly what it is intended to do. The USB slot is a nice feature. I have used it on 8+ hour roadtrips powering cell phones, laptops, DVD players and other items. Never a problem.

  The unit is small, and works great for powering a laptop. The guys really like the usb port. I will buy more when needed.

• The only problem I had was it did not charge my laptop or ipad very quickly(especially if I was using them). It did give enough juice to keep them going though.

• I didn't actually buy this for myself. I bought it for a freind of mine because I have a prime account and he doesn't, so I got it cheaper and it was delivered faster. He wanted it so he could watch movies on his laptop while he and his family drove to florida. I dont know exactly where in florida they were going but it was a 13 hour drive from Tennessee. He pluged in the inverter and then pluged the laptop into the inverter and he said the laptop indicated that it was charging and that the battery stayed charged. He says it works great, so I'm giving it 5 stars.
