• Considering that the kids who played with the PSP took the cover off to play with the game, I'd have to say it may have protected the device when NOT in use, but prevented the player from easily operating the game.

• The case protects the PSP from getting scratch up very well. I have two boys and they both have PSP's and they both have these cases and have no scratches thanks to these cases.

• The case is protective when your trying to keep your PSP clean and neat. I had a little trouble loading and unloading the UMDs with the case on though.

• The case is awesome! I don't have to worry about getting my PSP cover with my finger prints or in some cases dirty fingers. The case also covers the screen unlike mose cases for the Nintendo DS/DSi/DSi XL/3DS or the gameboys.
